This ground floor one-bedroom apartment in a small complex only 50m from The Cairns Esplanade and a short walk from the Cairns Hospital is one not to be missed. The unit contains everything you need to eat in, relax, and enjoy our amazing climate. Suitable for holidaymakers, small families as well as temporary business residents. THE SPACE: Situated on the ground floor with a small patio and within walking distance to the Cairns hospital, restaurant, Esplanade cafes, friendly grocers, takeaways and liquor outlets this property makes a perfect budget holiday or working base. The lounge area offers a pull-out queen-size sofa perfect for lazing in front of the TV with local channels and complimentary Netflix, or can add another two sleeps. Free WiFi is provided for your entertainment during your stay.. The air-conditioned bedroom has a king-size bed, plenty of closet space, a portable fan, and a porta cot and a high chair for your little one. The unit comes with a bathroom and walk-in shower and high-quality towels (bath as well as pool towels) and bed linen. There is also a free washing machine in the backyard shed for all six units to use. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, gas stove and oven, microwave, kettle and all basic kitchenware. No private parking at the property but plenty of free unlimited parking spots can be found on the street right in front of the building. We have 4 adjoined fully renovated units in this complex that would be suitable for group bookings. Long-term bookings are welcome, please contact us for an additional 2+ months discount. PLEASE NOTE: As we are not a hotel, we only provide a starter amenities pack for your convenience. Any further supplies needed will need to be purchased for yourself.

Neighborhood info

There are some fantastic restaurants and mini-mart in Lake Street, walking distance from the apartment. The Cairns Esplanade is the jewel in the Cairns crown. It is very popular with locals for walking, jogging, cycle pathway, exercise equipment at various locations along the length of grassy, well-maintained lawns. The expansive parks and gardens are beautiful. There is a concrete pathway along the beach. A few minutes walk to gas barbecue areas, about 15 minutes Muddy's Cafe (local fish and chips, burgers etc) and terrific water playground and jungle play area for kids. The southern end of the Esplanade has many bars and restaurants to choose from, as well as a world-class casino with restaurants (and is adjacent to the main shopping area). Here you will find plenty of tour booking agents for a big range of reef, rainforest, tablelands tours scenic flights, fishing trips, balloon flights, and other specialty tours. The Cairns beach is not for swimming. Please use the huge free infinity pool at the southern end of the esplanade which has its own beach and lifesavers. Gas barbecues, ice cream shops and cafes are nearby.
