Clean, nice owner, peaceful and quiet. Very well maintained and decorated house. One of the best we had so far. Modern. Comfy. We all slept through the night!

We visited Stanthorpe for a quick getaway to see the autumn colours and explore the area including Girraween National Park.
The Visitors Centre is a must to start with - the staff were knowledgable and gave us recommendations according to our preferred activities. Fav places - park/lake surrounding the Visitors centre; roadside fruit stands to pick up fresh apples and other produce; murals painted on building through the town centre - an easy walk; The Stanthorpe Cheese Factory - do a cheese tasting! We ate lunch at the Cheese factory - great food and coffee!
Half an hour south of Stanthorpe is Girraween National Park, with it's massive granite boulders. We did a couple of easy walks and they were worth doing to see some amazing boulder formations - particularly the Granite Arch Walk. I would have loved to do a couple of the more adventurous walks but alas - my days of confidently scrambling over rocks and boulders are gone :(
Highly recommended, and we will go again.

Stanthorpe is probably Queesnslands best Wine District...
Stanthorpe is probably Queesnslands best Wine District producing some good wines..They produce wine of many varieties and there is something for everyone. There are some cheese producing properties and some that produce many of the local Jams and spreads. They have a unique Winery on the northern area of Stanthorpe that produces a huge variety of fruit and desert wines along with a distillery and a brewery to cater for all palates. Personally if the Motels and various accommadation places want to charge expensive fee then they need to start to upgradse their premises. A difference of $60 for similar rooms from Warwick to Stanthorpe is a lot.

Relaxing holiday for families who enjoy outdoors.
Relaxing holiday for families who enjoy outdoors. Close to Girraween National Park, and a beautiful walk along the river through the middle of town. The Christmas Tree Farm is an enchanting place to visit at any time of the year. We have been to Stanthorpe a few times and love being in a country town away from the city for a while. Food is great! Whether eating at a pub or a local restaurant you’ll get a lovely meal that is great value for money too. The wineries and boutique food producers are fun places to go to as well. It is impossible to say no to a lot of their products - we couldn’t anyway! There is a museum there but we’re saving it for the next time we visit.😊

We love Stanthorpe.
We love Stanthorpe.
Must do restaurants -Anna's, Varias - School of Wine and Tourism, Steak House, Zest Pastries.
Don't miss the apple pie and juice at Suttons.
So much more to see and do. Need lots of time to soak it all up.
A beautiful place to stay. A small secluded cottage all to ourselves, The place was well designed and very comfortable with a couple of quirky flourishes - with all the amenities we could ask for. It was quiet, with not much more than the sound of the surrounding bush; and very little traffic noise. The setting is gorgeous, but still close to Stanthorpe. Our hosts were marvelous too - thanks for the stay J and D - we'll be back!
Our cabin was spacious. Perfect for our family of 4. The views were amazing. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed a fire pit in the evening. Perfect for stargazing. Staff were friendly and helpful. The park was clean and well maintained and we had everything we needed in the cabin. Would definitely recommend and would return. Mobile coverage was patchy but it was nice to disconnect. Loved our two nights here.
We were met with a very friendly reception at Stannum Lodge and the room was just as we hoped, both in cleanliness and the facilities offered. It was perfect for a night or more stop-over, and a short walk into the centre of Stanthorpe itself. It was very convenient being able to park the car directly in front of the accommodation.
Location is very convenient and close to the main street of Stanthorpe but in a quiet neighbourhood , the house was beautiful and spotlessly clean , but also perfectly appointed with everything you need including board games and books , even a BBQ on the large deck along with an outdoor table setting and a fire pit outside
The location is wonderful, amongst bushland on the edge of Stanthorpe. We saw wallabies, rosellas, native geckoes and other wildlife just outside our cabin.
The cabin itself is cosy and comfortable, with everything you need (except a sink at the kitchenette to wash dishes, but that wasn't an issue for a short stay).
Very comfortable and well appointed house. The heated bathrooms, oil heaters, internal fire place and outdoor fire-pit, were all so all much appreciated for our short 2 night and chilly stay Stanthorpe. It was conveniently located to base ourselves whilst exploring the Girraween and Bald Rock National Parks.
Love the location of the cottages, very quiet and relaxing place to stay. Cottage was clean with a comfy bed. Kitchen is a little tight. Breakfast essentials of a fresh loaf of bread, single serve packages of cereal, milk and local apple juice supplied. A lovely bottle of wine included from the vineyard.
Beautiful cozy cottages! The breakfast basket was filled with beautiful local products and the strawberry jam made by the owner was exceptional!!! Fantastic and friendly service. Fantastic location for accessing all the Stanthorpe has to offer. We will definitely be back!
Two bedroom cabin was warm, clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed for our stay. Location was great. Quick drive into Stanthorpe and convenient to the wineries. Nice little walks as well for pretty sunset views. Owners were extremely friendly and helpful.
Cute cabins with wood fire place inside. Tranquil and quiet amongst the trees. Great shower with very hot water for cold days. Good heater in the room too. Very clean and well maintained. Nice breakfast box. Easy access to the brewery for a drink and a meal.
Family friendly. Hosts Gail and Paul were welcoming and friendly. Meals (additional charge) were delicious. Beds were warm and comfy especially during the winter. Kids were thrilled with being able to help with feeding animals.
The location was great for easy access to Stanthorpe for the shops and services as well as all of the attractions in and around Stanthorpe. The quite location and wonderful walk along the creek
We loved everything about this property. It was idyllic in every way. We took our cats and they had a fantastic time as well! Will definitely love to stay here again when next in Stanthorpe.
Robert was great and friendly and looked after us. Stanthorpe is a hidden Gem in QLD, with Giraween national park down the road, wineries, cheese tasting and a maze to get lost in.
Great house for our annual family get together plus the Apple and Grape Festival. The pool was fabulous as it was one of the hottest weekends for Stanthorpe.
