Superb location – plenty of on-site parking. Beautiful garden. Everything immaculately clean and comfortable. There were some extras we didn't expect including a night light in the bathroom and a non-skid shower mat. The hosts clearly put a lot of thought into making guests comfortable.
The hosts were friendly and welcoming. They're communications were timely and informative, and they did a great job of explaining how to locate the property and how to access the free off-street parking. They also followed up with a text to my phone with that info before our arrival, which I really appreciated, and on our arrival made it clear they'd be available if we had any questions after check-in.
Located in Bridgewater and with Victoria Square reachable within 12 miles, Mount Lofty Golf Course provides a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a terrace.
A Suite Spot in the Hills is a recently renovated guest house in Mount Barker where guests can make the most of the garden and barbecue facilities.

Stunning accommodation. We travedll from WA and has been the best accommodation that we've stayed.
The most comfortable bed. Even better than ours at home. Would definitely stay again on our nect trip.
Exquisite town of stone buildings and gorgeous architecture.
Exquisite town of stone buildings and gorgeous architecture. Absolutely picturesque ❤️ We went to the German arms hotel which had a very detailed menu and the food and drinks were amazing! The Mill had great food and pool tables and big screen tv to watch sport. The leather shop has some great items. So many gorgeous antique shops. The Main Street you can walk all day and still not see everything.

A lovely little village.
A lovely little village. It's good to stay over to really enjoy the vibe - but beware - a lot of the shops don't open until 10:30 or 11am as they wait for the tour groups to arrive.
DO visit the Cedars and take a tour of Hans Heysen's house - very interesting.

As this trip was not a sight seeing trip I did not get to see the whole town, but what i did see was very charming and would be a great place to spend a relaxing week away, dining and wining the days away. With a walk or two through the town looking at all the quaint shops.

Hahndorf is beautiful, we used it as a base and travelled around the area, caught the bus to Adelaide went to Monarto Safari Park which was great. The best restaurant we went to was "Wok The Duck" in Mt Barker. So well worth the stay.

I had a lovely platter and glass of wine at Somerled in the main street of Hahndorf where Karen was very attentive. I enjoyed a very good breakfast and coffee at Cafe Assiette, which is open at 7.30am each morning. There is a great gallery and shop at Hahndorf Academy, plus many other unique gift, food and homewares shops in the main street.

Hahndorf is gorgeous.
Hahndorf is gorgeous. Not only is it physically beautiful, it just oozes history. There are so many things to see (HIGHLY recommend Sharon's walking tour BTW) and do...plenty of great food outlets, many with an appropriately Germanic character. Be cautious...there are some tourist traps, but they do not diminish from the experience. Overall I would highly recommend a visit to Hahndorf, and spend at least three days there

It is such a great family experience and the perfect location. We were fortunate to stay when there was a full moon which lit up the surrounds. The night sky was full of stars it was so peaceful. In the morning we had kangaroos foraging around us.
The CABN was comfortable and has everything you need. Plus you are only a short drive to Hahndorf.
Highly recommend it was perfect.
The location was excellent located near Hahndorf in the Adelaide Hills and one hour drive to either the Barossa Valley or McLaren Vale.
The view from the verandah and dining room was exceptional.
Great facilities, nice and clean and far enough off the Main Street to be quiet. However it’s only a 1 minute walk from the front door to the Main Street of Hahndorf
