Loved having a picnic beside the river and listening to the water, the yoga space (I tried to get through the Ashtanga primary series with the laminated sheets) and the the grand piano in particular was joyous for me to play. All the little things were beautiful, the coy fish, nice coffee machine, the wine decanter, the bath tub with rainforest views and especially the fireplace.

It is the complete package. I stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin for 2 nights and it lacked for nothing right down to the herbs & spices in the kitchen and throw blankets on the couch. The cabin comforts are only surpassed by the views of the surrounding countryside. So do yourself a favour you will not be disappointed.

We loved early morning bird calls while having our first cuppa on the verandas. Although right in town, the road to the main area at night had no footpath and was unlit so a torch is needed. Maleny Lane was a fun place to eat with different options in the one area.

Maleny is such a beautiful and cute town.
Maleny is such a beautiful and cute town. I love how it's surrounded by nature. I found it peaceful and comfortable and I would definitely go back again. We've done bush walking. It's so easy to get around Maleny everything felt close. We had lunch at Brouhaha which was absolutely amazing. The food and drinks were fantastic.

Maleny is a cute, quaint historical village with wonderful cafes (especially Monica's Cafe and its yummy burgers). It's surrounded by amazing, beautiful scenery. Bird World and Australia Zoo (both must-visits) are close by. A definite place to return to for rest and relaxation in a peaceful, restorative natural environment.

We absolutely loved our stay at Maleny Hills Motel.
We absolutely loved our stay at Maleny Hills Motel. From the very warm welcome on arrival, introduction to our room and lively chatter between the host Thierry and ourselves. The room was exceptionally clean and spacious with all the facilities we needed. Breakfast was an absolute delight each morning. We will definitely stay there again. There was a lot more to see and do around the area than we thought. Our main purpose was to visit friends but we also managed to fit in visits to Maleny, Montville, Flaxton, Mapleton and Mary Cairncross Pk. Eumundi market was on our list but we didn't manage to get there, maybe next time.

Maleny is a thriving hub for alternate living, with many arty and crafty type places. It has a rural, rustic felling, while being not too far away from larger towns - Landsborough and Caloundra.
It must be noted though, it is not a town for anyone who has bad knees or hips - the terrain is quite steep and sloping.
The location was perfect as it was in between and close to both Maleny and Montville. Having my car parked directly outside my door made everything so much more convenient and easy. The bed was comfortable and the WIFI was really good too. Lots of little touches to make you feel welcome and the gentleman who owns and runs the hotel was so accommodating, friendly and has a great sense of humour (lots of laughs). I have already booked 2 more stays for 2023.
Celebrating our 35th Anniversary and getting out of city life this Cottage was absolutely perfect. Completely private with everything you need for comfort was provided. Sabina takes pride in providing a fridge full of surprises & a great warm welcome to the property. Loved the spa & location is Walking distance into Maleny. Go On Spoil yourselves book this cosy cottage you won't regret it.
Omg! I cannot describe with words how marvellous was our stay at The Guesthouse Maleny, and the main reason is Kyla the Manager!
Kyla’s hospitality and welcoming attitude made our stay another level! Ive never been hosted by someone so unique and gorgeous like her.
A massive SHOUTOUT TO KYLA!
Our family is so grateful and we will come back for sure!
THANK YOU 🙏🏼
Delightful place to stay. Well appointed spacious rooms, good privacy, large windows and decks with close view of rainforest, easy walking proximity to shops, cafes, walking trails and platypus viewing pools. Generous fruit bowl, bread and other food items provided by host. Well equipped kitchen. Front door code access is convenient. Car park close to entry.
Seclusion at night was excellent making for very little noise.
The privacy afforded to you by not having kids or pets running around was nice.
Sitting by the small lake was relaxing.
The size if the bathroom was great!
Location made for a good base camp to wander off and go hiking elsewhere or roam around maleny/montville.
The hotel was well designed, so that all the rooms have a stunning view to the valley and the Glass House Mountains. The food was delicious, and they even made a ham&cheese toastie for my daughter's breakfast, although it wasn't on the menu. There's parking space for all the guests and heated aircon for the cold nights.
Recently my husband and I stayed at the Rosebrook Cottages in Melany & we had a magical time for our 10 year wedding anniversary! Our hightlights of our trip was definitely the mountain views, the spa bath & the very accommodating hosts! We enjoyed getting some relaxing time away from work & kids so thanks for that.
The house is stunning and a real labour of love. It's beautifully restored with some additions to the original structure. There are so many eclectic and thoughtful touches all over the property. The house is a real gem and you really feel that you are staying in something very special in a very special location.
Trish & Chris made us feel like we were guest in there own private home. The cabin was exceptionally clean & had ample room. The amazing views of the valley from your balcony & your spa made you not want to leave. The bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast provided was a perfect end to a great stay.
Gorgeous, super spacious cabin overlooking an amazing view of the whole valley (we stayed in Seminyak villa). A lot of breakfast provisions provided and everything was clean and presentable. 10 mins to Maleny and 10 mins to Montville - so it’s perfectly in the middle of the two.
it has absolutely everything you need. The house is centrally located with an easy drive to Maleny and Montville.
Catherine is a wonderful host, the accommodation is very comfortable, the views are amazing and we had a fabulous time.
Amazing place with breathtaking view of nature, lovely birds, a warm fire place and wonderful hospitality. Our host provided wonderful fresh bread and provided nice homely items in the house that is unusual to see in accommodation
We loved everything about the cottages, the hosts made it so easy with the contactless check in, it is located perfectly between Maleny and Montville and right across the road from Maleny Cheese. Could not have asked for more
I liked the fact it was an old hotel, full of character & we loved the balcony overlooking the street and the ensuite was excellent. Bed was comfy, room was clean & TV worked well. Would definitely stay there again.
Lovely location in the hinterland, cows next door and views towards the Sunshine Coast from the balcony. Spacious property with more than enough beds for us. Walk across the road to a lovely French cafe.
We were very happy and impressed with our stay at this beautiful house and location. Everything was perfect and so homely and comfortable. I will definitely be back and recommend as great place to stay
