location was great, ease of access, room was clean and comfortable
A great family place with plenty to do. It was raining most of the time we were there but that didn’t matter. We got a few hours by the pool and the other activities filled in the time. It’s a lovely tranquil island with lovely staff.

Hamilton Island is a great place and a great stop over if going onto Hayman Island. We were worried if our flight was delayed in any way we would miss our boat transfer to Hayman Island so we came in a day earlier. It was a very nice overnight stay allowing us to explore Hamilton Island.

Apart from the overpriced accommodation we found it to be a relaxed atmosphere. We love golf so was able to fit in two games on Dent Island. The views really are breath-taking from the course. Golf club restaurant probably the best in both food (although a bit limited in variety) and to take in the amazing views across the azure water. Cocochu restaurant offers a fresh and varied menu. Make sure you book in advance as very popular. There is some coral located just out from cats eye beach so pack your snorkel and mask to see a variety of tropical fish, rays, reef sharks and likely to come across a sea turtle munching on the sea grass at the bottom. One tree hill to take in the surrounding views

The island has lots an options for dining and the tour operators are very professional. The prices can seem high but the quality of the offering is very good and of an international standard. Look for the deals and you can get some activities for free. The island shuttle buses are very handy for getting around.

It is a quite island, perfect for relaxing and taking it easy. Whilst relaxing there were also plenty of things to do e.g. there are some excellent hikes/bush walks to do across the island, half of full day trips to Whitehaven beach and regular ferries to Airlie Beach; lots of water sports as well.

Our first time at Hamilton Island with our sons aged 15 and 10. So much to do for families, every day was a new adventure. Highlights were the jetsking safari, navigating the island with a golf cart, beautiful warm weather and quad bike tours. Booked the half day to Whitehaven beach and didn’t enjoy at all. $470 for a family to be stuck on a beach with zero shade in the sun. Wasn’t brave enough to rush being stung by the jellyfish, even with the stinger suits on. Therefore, nothing to do but cook on the sand. Very overrated Beach. Other than that, great family holiday.

The location of the property was hard to beat! The free island shuttles arrive right outside the reception, while the ferry and airport buses are complimentary making it easy to get around the island without a buggy. The rooms were spacious, with a large king bed, self contained accommodation features and balcony with a great view. The pool and spa were fantastic, with a coffee van right outside reception was fantastic for the mornings!
The location and views were perfect. Absolutely stunning views & the accommodation was close to everything we wanted to do. The beach & pool were gorgeous & close to get to. The tropical gardens are stunning. Everything looked so aesthetically pleasing. We loved the shuttle service to & from the apartment- very convenient & made life easier. The free shuttle directly from the apartments was excellent & very handy.
Unfortunately we had rain on both days of our visit to Hamilton Island and found the location too far away from restaurants down at the Marina and over the other side where the Resort Centre was. Our buggy had no plastic covering and seemed old as the key kept slipping out. We got very wet. On the positive side the apartment was very spacious and well equipped and had a very leafy outlook and water glimpses.
Location was fabulous with big balcony to watch sunset. Lovely outdoor table and BBQ. Big apartment with great facilities. We had a golf buggy included for duration of stay and this was great. Hamilton Island is expensive but we mostly ate in the apartment. Supermarket also expensive. Nice pool area but a lot of steps. Good laundry facilities.
We were disappointed to learn that the facility was generally at capacity, however there appeared to be minimal activities available or planed for small kids 2-6. Hair Braiding was cancelled and the nail bar wasn't open.
However all pools were open and generally not too crowded.
we love Hamilton Island!
The location to Front St on Hamilton Island was fantastic. The apartment was very spacious, well equipped and very comfortable, with aircon in each room of the house. The rate included use of a buggy for the duration of our stay. The view was also absolutely beautiful. We would definitely stay here again!
The wonderful location with amazing sea view, excellent facilities, airport pick up and handy use of the buggy to get around Hamilton Island.
Frangipani apartments are conveniently located at the end of Catseye Beach close to the beach for a dip and right next to the start of the walking trails.
Huge hotel with good facilities. The location was great, the breakfast really good at both of the locations and, at least for us, was a great place for a 2day trip to Hamilton Island. They have also helped us with a late checkout even if it was a paid one.
Our accommodation was perfectly located. A short walk or buggy drive to shops and beach/pool.
The islands IGA & bottle shop stocked most items & was great for those balcony bbq over looking the water.
Was great! Apartment was great for our family. Great size for our family of five and spacious balcony overlooking the ocean.
Location was great. Close to marina and resort side also.
The staff where exceptional from start to finish. Great spot and the island is beautiful.
Great bathroom and bath
Nice view
