A beautiful, fully restored 112-yr-old Queenslander with a wrap-around veranda set in lovely gardens overlooking the farm. Dovecote is a fully self contained cottage equipped with wood fireplace, kitchen and comfortable antique lounge-room. Breakfast includes local milk, farm eggs, bakers bread, jam, butter, cereal and some seasonal herbs and veges. Seasonal produce from the organic kitchen garden is also available to for cooking. While wandering around the fruit orchids and meadows you will find alpacas, sheep, chickens, miniature horses and piglets grazing on the lush open grasses. No animals are kept for meat on the property, all animals are rescues and are living out their lives in comfort. Join the farm crew for daily animal feeding and organic activities or explore the local wildlife while sampling local produce. The farm is inhabited by many Australian native species including platypus, goanna, rosellas, finches, kookaburras, quails, water dragons and even an occasional koala! Nature lovers will be in paradise.

Daryl and his family live and work on Mango Hill Farm growing seasonal fruits and vegetables on the 10acre property and caring for the various rescue animals.
