The property sits in a beautiful garden area, off the road, so it was nice to sit on our balcony and watch the birds.

A great little town with so much to see in the town plus in nearby areas. The bakery, Gold Museum and gaol plus so much more, 2-3 days could easily be spent here. Being autumn time, the tree colours were magnificent.

Beechworth is a great place to visit at any time however, in autumn the colours are spectacular and as a keen photographer, I had plenty to photograph. There are also many activities in Beechworth and it's surrounds to have something meaningful to do every day. The weather was delightful.

Never enough time to see Beechworth.
Never enough time to see Beechworth. Easy walking to the different amenities. Very historical town and well worth the effort to see what is on display such as the court house, Burke Museum. Great eating at night time in the bistro at the Hotel Nicholas, but book ahead as it was flat out. Meals were amazing and well priced.

Been to Beechworth before but it is just delightful especially in Autumn. Nice lot of shops and walks if you like. Just relaxing in the sun is always good. Lots of history to explore if you like. Lots of good cycling too if that's your thing.

Very friendly people, especially in the Visitor's Centre.
Very friendly people, especially in the Visitor's Centre. They have recommendations for tours and useful maps. Beautiful town to just wander around but also lots to do and see. The self-guided cemetery tour is fascinating, as is the prison tour. Don't miss the Burke Museum with its row of shop fronts from Old Beechworth. Listen to stories from the past in the Telegraph Museum. On Mayday Hills you can go on a history or ghost tour of the old asylum which is very informative. Also, there are escape rooms and a great puzzle shop! Visit Bilson's brewery for free tastings of the many flavours of cordial (or alcoholic drinks), and the Beechworth Honey shop for honey tastings. There is also the lolly shop and the Beechworth Bakery and lots of other eateries in town. Should be a definite stop for anyone travelling in the area!
The room was broken into a bed area and another room was the living room. Both small yet comfortable enough, as they used to be individual sleeping quarters for nurses. During the early night and early morning to heard the wonderous bird life of the area eg the kookaburras etc. A real delight and looking out the window rabbits nibbling. The walk into town for food was fabulous, walking past many nice homes. Overall a quiet retreat to stay within easy reach to all other facilities.
Cabin was super cute! The bed was really comfy & it was great that it was fully self contained with a kettle, toaster and microwave - a coffee in bed each morning looking out into nature was luxury! The park itself had a very in nature feel - not at all commercialised - there was a cute little playground but none of the typical 'jumping pillow' style stuff that takes away from the beauty of camping. I loved our little deck and ability to have a campfire.
This is a great cottage in a quiet part of Beechworth with fantastic views to a duck pond with the ducks and a magnificent forest just behind us.
Set back from the main road with everything you need for self catered stay. A well equipped kitchen and spacious living area means you have plenty of space to relax whether with friends or family.
Spotlessly clean, great beds, heating and cooling easy to operate and clean.
Charming motel with great ambience , complimentary breakfasts , a small shaded pool and the loveliest owners Stephanie and Daniel . Comfortable rooms with good mattresses and a very recently upgraded bathroom . Barbeque area has shade and chairs . The only suggestion I can make is there should be some instructions on how to use the audio visual systems. Thanks so much I will recommend your accommodation .
Simple breakfast in the clean room with good kitchen facilities. Had a separate room for the bed and the bath room was large. Could use a bigger shelf in the bathroom for creams, razor, etc.
Room split system great to quickly heat the room; parking in front of the room was convenient.
The location in the very centre of Beechworth was great.
The hotel is clean , the toilets and baths was good. Wasn’t stuff or reception but we managed it . I tried to drink tea but no kettle to boil water, was bags of tea and coffee without hot water. Was fridge and bread inside the fridge. I would recommend to put a kettle to boil water and having drink like tea or coffee.
Had an absolute wonderful experience in the hotel. I would highly recommend to all my friends it's definitely one of the best hotels I have stayed in the bed were extremely comfortable the food was very fresh and the owners of the Hotel art amazing
I loved this beautifully presented boutique hotel. It was clean, quiet, comfortable, and very conveniently located - just a short walk into the town. All the little extra touches were very much appreciated, and I left wishing I was staying longer.
We really enjoyed our stay at Beechworth, the reception lady was very friendly. The rooms were very spacious and the bed was really comfortable. The scenery and outlook was very picturesque and it's really quiet area of town.
We've stayed a few times in Beechworth, and this time we wanted to be in town, so location was important... We were only staying for one night and the room was ample for our needs and was spotlessly clean.
Apartment is very spacious and in a great spot to walk to everything Beechworth has to offer. So easy to pop into the hotel lounge for drinks or a great meal too. Very quiet as well.
