Just in Emerald for 2 days.
Just in Emerald for 2 days. Got everything done that I planned. Good visit. Emerald is a medium sized town and pretty much everything is just a 10 - 15 minute walk away. The golf course is significantly improved over the last few years. Pleasant place to play and Pro Shop staff are really friendly and helpful. Plenty of dining options from Chinese buffet to pub meals to A-La-Carte restaurants.

We had a lovely dinner at the Emerald Star Hotel. Found it a bit strange that the local Woolworths didn't open till 9am unlike in Brisbane that open at 7am. Found an IGA with lovely local bread. Unfortunately finding a good coffee was a challenge.Mary-EllenAustralia - 10Scored 10
Very nice caravan park with cabins.
Very nice caravan park with cabins. Pet friendly, on-site food van, fire pit and free entertainment. Dogs stay on a lead at all times regardless of size. I have no issue with this rule and think it’s a good idea. Not everyone loves your fur baby. The cabins are very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Emerald was bigger than what we expected so there for the amenities etc were much better than expected , it also still had the charm and welcoming warmth of a country town and all the friendliness that comes with that ! I had never been to Emerald and it was much bigger than I had thought. We had a lovely Chinese smorgasbord take-away for dinner. We filled the car up when we were leaving and it wasn't overpriced and the staff were friendly.JillAustralia

We can do our washing. Do some cooking. Every room has its own on-suite, so it's perfect for couples and family. It's out of town in a suburb, so it's really quiet. Shops close enough for essentials. This us our preferred accommodation in Emerald. Reception staff is lovely and professional and eager to help.

The children snapped up the room that had a lounge with comfy office chairs and a TV and a bedroom and a bathroom. We took the other room which was a bedroom, TV and a bathroom. It was the children's preferred motel of the trip. :) The free biscuits were also Oreos, a nice change from the usual Arnotts. :)
