I enjoyed what I saw , lots of shops for different varieties, lots to pick where you would like to eat , everything is easy to get to ( I would suggest a map of where different shops that people might like to go to , I wasn’t there there for a look around Orange , but had to go to the post office & couldn’t find it .. till I went to the information place & got a map to help me find my way around , they light up the main streets at night which looked amazing & welcoming .. there is lots to see & well worth a trip there & discover the wineries produce & the knowledge of Orange

Didn't spend nearly enough time in Orange - there were restaurants I would have liked to have tried and wineries. Also I would have liked to have played more golf than just one game. We went in autumn which was beautiful. We ate at the Union Bank - schoolhouse restaurant which was delicious - make sure to book well ahead so you won't be disappointed. Breakfast at Byng St cafe was also fantastic, atmospheric and excellent service. Hey Rose wine bar was quirky with incredible salami and breads. For families and couples the Heifer winery had beautiful grounds and some excellent wines that you won't be able to resist.

Orange is a lovely country town with lots of historical and architecturally interesting buildings and the faint smell of 'old money'. Beautiful in autumn. Lots of pub and restaurant options, wineries etc. Duntryleague is a wonderful golf course if you can get on.

We enjoyed the town, the wineries were lovely, although some don't open during the week, that was disappointing.
People were very friendly, knowledgeable and made our stay very relaxing and enjoyable.
Lake Canobalas was beautiful, child friendly, lovely cafe and lovely place to walk and relax.
Richard our taxi driver went above and beyond organising another driver to pick us up later that night as he was finishing his shift. A big thank you to him.
We went to a few restaurants and they were high end and very good.

Restaurants are great, meals were spot on
Coming into Orange I was amazed how tall trees and the beautiful Autumn colours everywhere 😍
A very comfortable town house for a short stay in central Orange NSW. Close to info centre, restaurants, cafes and shops. 3 Bdrm and fully air conditioned (dining room only)+ fans in most rooms. The house is pretty cool in any event due to style of construction. There is one bathroom with shower, spa and toilet for all occupants. Everything was spotless.
Kitchen was well equipped and well stocked with basic ingredients; milk, coffee pods, sugar etc. Gated area to park your vehicle within. Pretty good value short term stay.
We loved Amara Views. A beautifully restored property in a rural setting. The home was warm and welcoming for our arrival.
The home was beautifully styled with all the comforts and everything we needed for a relaxing, safe and peaceful holiday in gorgeous Orange. The massive king size bedroom was luxurious, the big TV on the wall and the well equipped/ heated ensuite was awesome. The kitchen was easy to prepare easy meals during our stay.
Lovely, spacious house in a great location - on a very quiet street but still easy to walk to local cafes, pubs, restaurants and shops. Really comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen and a nice table in the garden to eat outside at. Excellent hosts who provided really useful local information and great communication. Check-in was very easy too. I would stay here again if back in Orange.
Owner is absolutely great and happy to help with anything. This place will be amazing when the pub is up and running in hopefully two weeks or so.
Also extremely close to everything in a short walk, but not over crowded.
Rooms are clean, there is parking, shared bathrooms are clean and probably have the best water pressure I've experienced in any hotel.. Including high end.
The staff were excellent and made me feel very welcome. The chef at the bistro was quite a character as well. I enjoyed one of the curries he had added to the menu. The standard of the meal was above the normal offering from a pub.
Really pleased with my accommodation. Excellent facilities and the price was so reasonable. The water pressure and temp in the shower was great too! Ideally located in centre of Orange. I felt safe and secure and comfortable.
Hotel Canobolas advertised as art deco renovated. The public areas weee attractive but the rooms were cramped, drab decor and the bathroom was disgraceful - paint peeling, mouldy and grubby. Really disappointing.
Easy checkin and out, the staff were great. Bed was super comfy and the mini breakfast bags were a really nice touch! Rooms are quiet and well ventilated. Hotel is in a great location for exploring orange
The view was great and the winery itself was lovely. The fact that you can pick your own fruit to eat was a huge bonus and gave us an activity to do. An abundance of breakfast and fruits provided.
Beautiful hotel, loved the different pop of colours used in the decor. Great location in Orange. Breakfast was also lovely held at the front of the hotel, with beautiful views of the front yard.
It is very new with modern appliances, comfortable and quiet. Self contained bedrooms are gold class quality. Friendly and helpful hosts, willing to answer any questions.
