The most amazing location and view, and we were only staying in one of the basic rooms! Particularly loved the two-room style with bedroom + sink area then a living room with couch and tv. Really great value for what you get!! Shared bathroom was pretty clean, great bar and restaurant downstairs, staff were nice. Best swim I’ve ever had at the beach down below!!

Just 2 minutes’ walk from Yamba Bay, The Carmel Yamba features a tennis court, an outdoor pool and barbecue facilities. Set in tropical landscaped gardens, it offers rooms with flat screen smart tv..

The hotel is in a very good location, walking distance to the town and also to the beaches. It is just across the road from the river where the footpath runs all the way to both. It was a quiet and comfortable room and the owners were very friendly. The pool area looked very nice but we didn't get a chance to use it. We enjoyed our stay here.

The location (both the view of the beach and access to a wide variety of eateries), and staff (Deb is a delight!). Our small room was comfy and nicely appointed. The shared public space makes good use of the facility (a restored inn). The front porch area is very appealing!

When i visited Yamba is was hammering down with rain which i guess is unusual. It made my short stay a bit bland as the beach was off and the town was very wet. However, i noticed two very busy restaurants, a nice little collection of shops and takeaways. a few drinking holes etc. Id say when the sun is shining it looks a 100% more appealing. Im told the surfing is great but not my thing. wortha visit if youre a surfer or just travelling up the coast. lots of waterways, pelicand, wildlife. Its just off the highway so easy access and when youre there you feel like youre in the middle of nowhere so that works! Worth a trip for 2-4 days in my opinion.

Lovely place to spend a week or more for a summer holiday. Local restaurants are varied and offer good quality food and service. Golf Club offers a championship layout and the bar and eatery ate excellent. A visit to the boutique brewery - eatery (The Wobbly Chook) is a must.

Yamba is the most delightful place, I would live there if I could. Everything is so convenient. Restaurants are great, and I very rarely come home without a new pair of shoes - the shoe shop is excellent.

Yamba is lovely, beaches, fishing, golf, there is plenty to do . Be very careful where you stay , that is the key. The sands is great, be wary of the Cove, please note they are owned by the same organisation, I am just being honest.

I only stayed overnight on my way from QLD to VIC so didn't get to see much of the town. It seemed like a nice little seaside town though and would have loved to be able to stay longer to explore it.

Nicely decorated Good air conditioning and ceiling fan . Every room is individually owned , so may have different decor or supplies in them. Also bring your own coffee as you only get 2 Nescafe pods . Coffee plunger is available at front desk . Property is within walking distance of restaurants and town .Bus service close to hotel. Swimming pool is small but nice to cool off in .

The Carmel was such an excellent place to stay on our recent trip to Yamba. Awesome location, walk to shops and restaurants. Right across the road from the river, beautiful walk into town. Rooms were clean and really nicely decorated. Our room was so nice we decided to buy some seafood and wine and stay in for the night. The staff were just so lovely, really friendly and welcoming. We only had one night at The Carmel, wish we had longer.

The facilities are great whether you’re a couple or family with young children, and best of all the staff really make this resort special - they’re so helpful and go the extra mile to make your stay a memorable one. As the resort is a little way from, it’s great for the peace and tranquility, but take advantage of the bicycles to get into Yamba.

We were unable to stay at Lighthouse Unit 2 in June 2022 due to being uninhabitable to to water damage from a leaking roof. We were told by property manager Yamba Iluka real estate it had been damaged in March and had not been able to get fixed due to bad weather and would take a significant time to dry out then be repaired.

Our business trip stay at the Mobydick Resort was truly exceptional. We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment that offered the perfect blend of comfort and functionality, with spacious interior and high ceilings. The attentive staff further elevated our experience, making it a great choice for our work related travels.

Iconic location. Iconic hotel. A great place to stay and excellent value for money. I’ve been going to Yamba for almost 50 years and stayed here, at pub, for the first time as my place was not available. The stay exceeded my expectations and I’m Glad to have finally stayed at the great Pacific Hotel

The location is breathtaking, sweeping views of the sea in an old-style hotel which has recently been done up (at least our 'signature rooms' were very nice - maybe not all the rooms as the bar area and other aspects seemed pretty dated!)
