We were there before the summer rush.

We were there before the summer rush. So it was not very busy It has a general store. A mixture of older beach homes and big modern homes. Small caravan park Has activities for over the summer. Fantastic beach. Has life guards on duty near the surf club. Swim between the flags! Close to Wilson’s Prom and lovely wineries!

We stayed there to access Wisons Prom.

We stayed there to access Wisons Prom. The local area was very quiet when we were there but it would be busy during the summer is my impression. Lovely beach when tide is out and a convenient location for surrounding attractions. No place to eat so self catering is the way to go. Took us about 35 minutes to get to Wilsons Prom from Sandy Point.

    Great spot with good amenities.

Great spot with good amenities. The beach is gorgeous , natural and unspoilt. There’s a lack of eateries nearby but the ones opposite the beach are good for a quick snack & coffee. Due to Covid I think things were limited but loved the coffee truck in the mornings and healthy salad options at sandy toes and salty kisses. The general store can be busy and produce not the freshest. You can get other grocery items from nearby towns too .

Great place to de-stress and take time to enjoy the relaxing beautiful part of the world. Beautiful beaches, quite. It’s a great place to get away from city noise and demands. Great place to get back to basics. Have some me time and just chill. We eat at the Fish Creek Hotel, great food. They had live music and great atmosphere. Recommend you book, not to miss out. Even saw some famous people eating there, Susie O’Neill ( former Aust swimming Champ) Not much to do at Sandy Point, other then enjoy the beautiful walks and beach. Only one general store, quite pricey. Recommend you do a shop before you get there. There was one cafe, but not operating in off season.

Nice cabin , good for warm weather and just a 40 min drive to Tidal River. Comfortable beds. Two different accomodation options from house to cabin, depending on what you want. Well equipped kitchen, (it even had tin foil). Host very easy and helpful to deal with

Loved Sandy Point. Very quiet and family friendly. Lovely walking tracks and a beautiful beach. We were delighted to having found yet another spot in Australia that hasn't been inundated by heaps of tourist. A real treasure.
