Love the countryside, particularly the beautiful shades of colours. The Standing Stones are an exceptional tourist attraction. I also love going to the Crofter's Cottage and the Strawberry Patch.

The external appearance looks dated, but the rooms themselves were clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. A microwave would have been handy. Reception was open till late, as opposed to the 5pm closing time on booking.com. Nothing flash, but good value for money .Good for a short stay.

Glen Innes is a very interesting town.
Glen Innes is a very interesting town. The information shop was extremely good.A visit to the Granite stones on the hill is well worth a visit. We spent
some time up there. The town is also interesting, with the variety of shops .and buildings.

The town is great and the locals are as well.
The town is great and the locals are as well. The motel is tired and our room lacked maintenance but was clean. We had issues with the shower getting the temperature correct (never) the A/C rattled the windows consistently, the noisy and dirty extraction fan and also missing a cover, the TV remote didn’t work and I couldn’t be bothered trying to get new batteries for it or reporting it. The electric blanket on the LH side worked but only on three, so you cooked. Eating out in town there was plenty of places. I will be more diligent with the ratings for future stays! 7.3 is too high.
Sapphire Cottage proved a great location for our stay in Glen Innes. Spacious, bright and airy with all you’d need for self-catering. Close to town with a relaxing outdoor area. Loved the wood burning stove and the roses in the large garden. Definitely a decided cut above all those bland country motels. We came to participate in The Goodness Gravel cycling event and will be hoping to stay at Sapphire Cottage again next year.
Beautiful old bank building converted into lovely guest house. Very comfy and spacious. Open fireplace in the shared lounge area. Excellent traditional guesthouse (not motel) style rooms. Shared kitchen for making tea and coffee. Well located in Glen Innes. In the main shopping street, not on the highway. Opposite a traditional hotel and close to cafes and shops. Very friendly and informative host. Breakfast was great.
Lovely location just to the south of Glenn Innnes. Being out of town and amongst fields was excellent. Despite the July conditions, the place was warm and comfy. The nearby Alpacas were a nice touch. The hosts were helpful but gave us our own space and did all they could to provide a comfy stay.
The hotel is charming and the owners have gone to a lot of trouble to retain and showcase the heritage of the building. Every bedroom has a private bathroom, the beds are comfortable, the bedrooms are spacious, there's a very welcoming recreational/reading space and the breakfast is great.
Is in a quite location, & an easy walk to the main street. The room is clean & tidy, has bunk beds which are a bonus and the main bed is comfortable. These units are good value for money and the staff are extremely friendly.
Will stay again when next passing through Glen Innes.
Very easy to find and right in the centre of Glen Innes. The staff were very friendly and communicated with us well in advance to ensure our needs were met. we stayed in a comfortable cabin and there was plenty of room of our family of six.
As a guest from Scotland, the hotel was like stepping into a time warp back home. I loved the traditional scottish decor, super authentic. Staff were incredibly friendly and accomodating!
Very neat cabin. All new. Comfortable bed,
All contents and equipment were new. The bathroom was equipped with everything a traveller needs.
I confidently recommend this Glen Innes Motel.
The cottage was fantastic, very spacious, clean and cosy with the fire. If we get back to Glen Innes we will definitely stay there, and we highly recommend Glen Waverly.
Absolute value for money, nicely updated, continental breakfast included. Being able to back into the covered parking space meant we could unload the car in the dry.
