Although it was hot and humid for our stay we still got out and walked the city. Was great to come back and relax around and in the pool at Rambutan. Beautiful location, lots to do. I came with my husband but it would also be a great destination for families. Went to Lux Noir Dinner Theatre and it was amazing! Townsville is a very different large town.
Townsville is a very different large town. It is very independent being so far away in distance form the State's capital being Brisbane. It is very active given it is a garison city. There seems to be a stronger focus on expanding food outlets and cuisine. A car is definately needed to get around.Guest review byDonnaAustralia
