• DOLPHIN FEEDING Unfortunately as a private villa owner we are not formally part of the dolphin-feeding programme. Guests staying in the Private Villas can register to feed the dolphins on a standby basis, subject to availability, by calling at The Dolphin Centre or the Tour Desk after 11:00 on the day. If you cannot participate we do recommend that you watch. • VEHICLE ACCESS PERMITS All 4WD vehicles on Moreton Island are required to hold the necessary vehicle access permit prior to your arrival on the island. Contact the QLD Department of National Park, Sport & Racing for this permit. • DRIVING ON MORETON ISLAND ALL ROADS within Moreton Island National Park are sand tracks. Therefore we recommend you have a 4WD with good under-chassis clearance. • FOOD We suggest that you bring sufficient food supplies for the duration of your holiday. Villa 21 has a refrigerator and freezer, microwave, electric oven, gas cook-top, dishwasher and BBQ. • LINEN All bed linen and bath towels are provided. We suggest your bring your own beach towels. A washing machine, clothes dryer and iron are supplied.

Both Brian & I have always enjoyed experiencing new destinations & cultures. Throughout our travels in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, North America & Europe we have enjoyed staying in unique but value for money accommodation that frequently adds a memorable experience to our holidays. We discovered Moreton Island a number of years ago and were simply blown away by this beautiful destination an hour away from Brisbane with its crystal clear waters and unforgettable western sunsets. We love to take friends with us to the Island and share meals on the Villa's front deck, pack a picnic and travel across the island to North Point and the Champagne Pools for the day or head south to Kooringal and purchase a couple of dozen fresh oysters (Sydney Rock) in-season. Fishing is something Brian enjoys while I just enjoy eating fresh fish so it is important to pack lemons/limes and a packet of frozen chips/fries. I am contactable by telephone during your stay. Villa 21 is part of Tangalooma Resort which is located on Moreton Island - the world's 3rd largest sand island. Moreton Island is a national park with only sand roads so only 4WD vehicles are permitted. Places to visit include: the wind-swept Eastern Beach, the sparkling Champagne Pools at North Point, secluded Honeymoon Bay, the world-famous 'Gutter Bar' at Kooringal. Visitors can also go whale-watching from Tangalooma (seasonal) and purchase fresh shucked oysters (just north of Kooringal) when in season. Tangalooma is a relaxing holiday destination.
