Very Creative!!! Think of a cross between camping and glamping. The bed and pillows were very comfy; the bathroom up to date. The hosts were most gracious and welcoming. It was a fun experience! (the owners are planning an extensive upgrade this year - better and better!)

So friendly, so clean, proper and traditional bed and breakfast. View and location are exceptional - so too the price.

The sounds of the sea straight in the bedroom, I slept so well.
Great views overlooking the shore.

Staff were lovely and room had everything we needed including a bathtub to soak in. Good value for money. A short walk to the beach, shops and for a little town it had everything we needed in close walking distance.
Located in a waterfront location within Freycinet National Park, this lodge offers secluded cabins in a coastal bush setting, 2 restaurants and a bar. Buffet breakfast is included.

Everything! The comfortable cabins were a great size with excellent amenities right down to the heated floors. Food quality was exceptional with plenty of variety to choose from. Both staff and their service was outstanding (we particularly appreciated Corey who made us feel so welcomed). The views were amazing, with breakfast and sunset drinks overlooking the bay. Highly recommend! We will definitely return.

What a stunning view from the cabins, so serene. The cabins are so comfortable and everything you need for a couple of nights. We made use of the bbq and the staff have a great bbq pack ready for you with everything you need, which is a great idea. The telescopes are such a good touch given the starry nights out there are amazing.

The Loontitetermairrelehoiner Track is a wonderful walk around the coast from Waterloo Beach to Schouten Beach. The walk itself is not as long as the name suggests.
Very nice views of Great Oysters Bay, with backdrop of Freycinet Peninsula.
As usual in Tasmania, there is nearly no one to be seen on the main street of this town after about 7pm. It's refreshing.

From a tourist perspective Swansea was lacking.
From a tourist perspective Swansea was lacking. Not much choice of places to eat. The oyster bar was closed due to weather, we were unable to get to the patisserie as the bridge was closed due to flooding, the pub closed at 2 so cant have a late lunch which often happens as a tourist. the IGA was closed for some reason and there was a small express IGA that had your basic items. We had dinner at a small local cafe and it was very expensive for what it is $40 for a main. But we didn't have a choice as pub full and that was the only place in town open.

Beautiful stay, super cozy and best sleep I have had on the whole trip.
10/10 for charm & spa bath was amazing after all the walking done. Great pub 2second walk down the road, loved the experience
After a really really tough 18 months (being from Sydney, with COVID ruining everything for an extended period of time), our weary souls were desperate for a holiday and Swansea Beach Chalets provided everything we needed to refill our buckets. We loved the fire pits, the location, the proximity to cellar doors, the games room and the heated pool. We loved winding down and just thinking about nothing for a few days. We especially loved how obliging and friendly the hosts are. Thank you so much, the stay was exactly what we needed.
We had the Mis wonderful overnight stay here in the beautiful town of Swansea. Karen the host was there to welcome us and provided great information on where to eat etc. Our rooms were beautifully decorated and everything we needed was provided. Beds were really comfortable, great shower and everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was absolutely amazing with a huge selection to pick from. We would definitely recommend and we'd love to stay here again. Thanks Karen for everything.
Our stay at the Piermont was a highlight of our trip to Tassie. We stayed in the Premium Spa Suite which was very clean, the decor was lovely and modern, the bed was super comfy and the view was spectacular. We loved exploring the grounds and beach. The additional activities such as tennis court, kayaks, paddle boards and bikes were a great touch. We enjoyed a meal at the Homestead restaurant on our first night which was delicious. We can't wait to visit again.
Centrally located on the main road in Swansea. The Owner Manager kindly checked us in 45 minutes early. He was very helpful with information on where to eat and things to do in the area. Provided detailed map of Wineglass Bay walking distance with some helpful pointers. Motel is near the beach with a boat ramp and ample fishing spots. A 9hole golf course is an easy walk and there's a nice easy track around the headland, return.
Our stay was the latest of many . We have never been disappointed. Rooms are super comfy and warm and the breakfasts are as you would expect from this beautiful accommodating house. Each time in Tasmania we look forward to our stay in Swansea and in particular our stay at Meredith House. Well done Neal and Noel. See you next time. Greg and Carolyn
The location was fantastic with private access to the beach which was only a 3 minute walk. The house itself had everything you needed plus a huge book and DVD library, lots of play things for the kids and an outdoor shower for after being at the beach which was a brilliant idea.
The cabin was situated on the cliff top and had a sea view. The place is quiet, clean and comfortable. All necessary amenities are u ok were provided. The bed was comfy and was greeted by the sunrise from our bedroom window . A short distance drive to Swansea town
The Swansea caravan park is in an ideal location right next to the beach , perfect for families. Cabins were small but very well equipped and very clean and quiet. My granddaughter enjoyed the scavenger hunt with bonus of lolly pop as a reward.
walked out of our room onto green lawn then straight to beach. Great walking track that led to a dog park which was great as the hotel was pet friendly so we had our 2 small dogs with us. Staff were lovely and very friendly and helpful.
Outstanding views from bedroom #2, out over the water. Breakfast was large portions and professionally done... top marks. Karen was happy to share her extensive knowledge of Tas. It really was like home away from home. Highly recommended.
Absolutely stunning location in beautiful Swansea. The accommodation & view were excellent. Cleanliness excellent. Watched the sun rise from our upper landing bedroom. Wish we could have stayed longer. Highly rate Swansea Beach Chalets.
Swansea Cottages are set in a quiet garden like location walking distance to the beach and town facilities.
The rooms are comfortable and well finished .
The gardens have a great communal fire pit and seating area .
Paid for an upgrade to a two bedroom room which was wonderful. Right on the doorstep of the water and roomy with great facilities.
RSL at Swansea needs an honourable mention as a great place to have a meal.
Maureen and John were very hospitable and supportive, ensuring we were comfortable during our stay. Gypsy Rose is such a unique accommodation and the place is near the centre of Swansea by car
Magical property right on the ocean! The property is so well thought out - cosy cottages, great facilities and gardens and the restaurant is some of the best food in tassie.
