The room was clean and comfortable. The style of the furniture is really nice. Close to the train station, and to the city center with good public transport connections.

I travel to Mechelen often. This is an excellent location. Equally close to train station and city center. Good restaurants, markets, take-aways, and bakeries nearby. Short walk to Mechelen's largest park and a block away from taking a stroll along the canal. Ann and David were very accommodating of my needs. The small touches here just add to the lovely experience. I will definitely stay here again.

Great location, just 8 mins walk from rail station and around 15 minutes into the centre to see the sights - plenty of good quality cafes and restaurants en route. Super shower and comfy bed in a large room with good facilities. It was a nice touch that our hosts left some local beers and water in the fridge for us. Ann and David were also helpful with tips to make the most of our stay, both beforehand and during our stay. Recommended!

A fantastic hotel in a superb part of Mechelen, just minutes from the old town and the train station. Spacious, comfortable and oozing with character, the room didn't disappoint. Beautiful bathroom and en suite, huge windows, wooden furniture and one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. David gave me a warm welcome and was always available to answer questions. He kindly lent me an ironing board, which I appreciated. I highly recommend this hotel. I'll certainly be back there next time I'm in Mechelen.

The location of this room is perfect- we wanted to be near to the train station (a 5 min walk) but also near to the town (10 min walk). The owners offered us their own private garage to park in which was fantastic- we parked the car on arrival and didn't need to use it at all until we left to come home. The room was massive, it could easily accommodate the three of us, and having tea/coffee making facilities as well as a fridge was really useful. The owners were in contact before and throughout our stay, which made check-in and out very smooth.
