The Old Town of Lugano, featuring several restaurants, bars and shops, is just a short walk away. A private underground car park can be used at an additional cost. The traditional International au Lac Historic Lakeside Hotel includes an exhibition about its 100-year history. The Church of Santa Maria degli Angeli, dating from 1515 and featuring a famous fresco by Bernardino Luini, is located just next to the hotel.
