You live in the southern Black Forest at an altitude of 930 m, surrounded by pastures, meadows and streams. In a quiet location on the outskirts of Todtmoos, unique nature and fantastic views await you. And if the valley is already in the shade, we still have sunshine here. Put on your walking shoes in the morning and just start walking. A small path behind the house leads you through lush pastures to the Kirchberg. The famous panoramic Lebküchler hiking trail runs there. The Rabenschlucht, the Hochkopf, the Todtmooser waterfalls and many other great hiking destinations are within easy walking distance. In winter, cross-country trails, winter and snowshoe hiking trails invite you to enjoy activities in the fresh Black Forest air. Our little guests enjoy the proximity to the Spürnasenpfad in summer and to the toboggan slope on Kirchberg in winter, which are less than 10 minutes away on foot. The physical well-being is also taken care of. In addition to three first-class confectioners in town, you can pamper yourself in the evening with excellent food from Black Forest restaurateurs. The way to us is steep. Please make sure to equip your car with winter tires during the winter months. Arrival by car is recommended. The distance to the town center is 1.1 km on foot downhill. Coming uphill from the town center, after the extensive S-curve that begins at the show mine car park, take the second street on the right called Haldenweg. Coming downhill, leave the hikers' car park just 300 m after the Todtmoos entrance sign on the left. Haldenweg is the next street on the left after another 500 m. Haldenweg is a dead end. Our house at number 7 is on the left. Our guest parking spaces are directly at the turning area. After checking in, you can conveniently park your car in the underground car park. Hi! We are Thomas and Anna. Since 2020 we are the happy owners of the Apartment Amalia, which we named after our little daughter. The apartments are on the 1st floor of a well-kept house that is mainly used by the owners as a holiday home. The house is a treasure to us. Originally acquired as our own holiday home, we immediately fell in love with the picturesque surroundings and left the metropolis completely behind us. Small streams behind the house, humming insects in the meadow, rustling leaves in the wind create a soothing and relaxing background noise that whisks you away to the fairytale area as soon as you arrive. We have become big Black Forest fans and have not regretted our decision to stay here completely. We live in the same house and are happy to be there for you personally.
