the room was very comfortable, also nice to sleep on a comfortable bed. I always enjoy the great breakfast spread. Great food choices always and I especially enjoyed having the fresh dark breads.

The friendliness of the staff, especially Lauren and Marcel (Mr. Fika) and the housekeeping staff; the cleanliness, and the location, make this place. As does the openness to welcoming artists and artwork and hosting cultural events and new art exhibits.

Great place to relax away from city life. Peaceful. Yet, even the locals were enjoying the beer garden. We had 4 meals there in 2 days. All were good and a good value. Clean, comfortable rooms. Homey and warm atmosphere, beautiful setting.

Everything was excellent except for the parking. And that was just pain that we had to do street parking because the parking lot was tiny.
The couple that runs it were very friendly and helpful!

The city itself of Kaiserslautern is teeming with life downtown, and it's got plenty to do for fun and delicious food within a 15 minute walk from most hotels. Just don't cheap out on where you stay or you can get seriously jipped.
We ate the best sushi I've had in Germany and visited the japanese garden. Very cool experience.
Plus we walked through the square near the Saks hotel and shopped at the pop up farmer's market there.

My favorite food was the Doner & wurst, also I love the brot in the backerie.
Not many fashionable outfits to buy for my taste I find it "boring"
People were curious about my outfit or where I come from that they just give me a stir LoL.
Not many locals speak English, try to have a bit of Deutsch to shop for food
Deutsch men seem aloft & shy instead of being cool.

The town is beautiful, walkable, safe - with many fascinating shops, restaurants and outdoor cafes, public parks, delicious bakeries, and some impressive things for tourists to visit - two museums each of which was excellent (one had a touring exhibit of an internationally famous modern artist, the other is a local history museum which is fascinating), the Japanese garden, the synagogue memorial - which was beautifully thought out, understated, and sensitive - and because Kaiserslautern is so close to Ramstein, everyone in the shops and restaurants speaks English and they understand, and are kind to, confused American tourists! Everyone I met was courteous, helpful, friendly. Do not miss: the two museums, the synagogue memorial (very thoughtful, sensitive, and thought provoking), the beautiful churches, etc.

the Hotel has no AC.
the Hotel has no AC. It was one of the worst experiences of my vacation. For a hotel that size, location, name recognition and star rating this hotel needs AC so customers can enjoy their stays during summer time there.

Late booking, more as a stopover, as all other more touristy cities hadn’t the number of reservations we required for our party.
Nothing really to see as a tourist but nice restaurants and pedestrian areas to enjoy a coffee or beer.

I had a 2 day intership in the Westphalklinik and this hotel was 200m from it. I choose this hotel because it was an excellent price for the location. It was very quite and clean. The shower and WC are not in the room but on the same floor. It is the perfect hotel for people who need to be alone in a room but don´t want to pay lot of money. There are several eatery very close (3 min) to choose from in the evening.
This is a fantastic very comfortable, attractive apartment in a nice location in Kaiserslautern. Great bathroom, kitchen and bedroom and pleasantly spacious. Very clean and well managed. An excellent experience throughout my visit.
Great hotel in a superb location, well equipped rooms, the staff were welcoming friendly and helpful, excellent on site restaurant and beer garden. Would recommend this hotel highly, excellent value for money.
Very spacious, very clean, no noise, all equipment you need, and a nice view on the city of Kaiserslautern from the window in the living room. Very kind host!
The staff provided very good customer service and was very helpful. The junior suite was excellent. The hotel is definitely one of the best in the area.
