While we stayed in Furelos, we were a short walk to Melide.
While we stayed in Furelos, we were a short walk to Melide. We loved the food especially the octopus at Garnacha. Additionally, we enjoyed visiting St. Anthony Chapel. There are many stores should you need to pickup supplies on your Camino route.
EXCELLENT! There is no other word to describe the whole experience of staying at this hotel. The modern and spacious room was a breath of fresh air while doing el Camino, the food was spectacular and had several vegetarian options and the service…I cannot speak highly enough of how well treated I felt after being injured. They go above and beyond in EVERY SINGLE aspect of hospitality.
The hotel is right on tha camino trail which is very convenient..Pulperia Garnacha famous for pulpo is just a short walk down the street. We had warm spacious and very comfortable room with a terriffic shower. The coffee machine in the room was a bonus. We did not take the breakfast so cannot comment on this.
We have travelled around the world , and we have never received such a nice treatment like in Urban Pension ! They have treated us like family and this is remarkable ! The room was huge and lovely and the breakfast amazing ! If we go back to Melide , definitely we will stay there again !
A clean functional hotel in a great location. The staff were very polite. Indeed, our room had a coffee machine and the reception manager kindly provided more pods on request (no charge). Our bed was comfortable and well proportioned. This hotel is a perfect stop on a Camino walk.
Although the hotel's facilities are not good enough: the elevator is too small, there is no hand sanitizer, and you have to go to the street to do laundry... But the host family is very enthusiastic, and the old couple can speak excellent English.
Perfect stay in Melide. Suso is very helpful and attentive to his guests. Nice, clean and comfortable room. Good location to arrive from and continue the camino. And practical that the bread for breakfast got delivered at 6h30 in the morning.
This was a clean, comfortable, friendly albergue. The shared room was spacious, bright room with a shared bathroom. The owner and staff were friendly. It is located on a quiet street, so there was no noise at night, a plus in Spain.
The location of Pension San Anton was ideal, on the Camino just before leaving Melide, yet convenient to the central downtown area. My room was clean, comfortable, and as expected based on the online photos.
Fabulous house half way between the old town and the main town of Melide, right on the path of the Camino. Fabulous staff, a dip in the pool was amazing after 3 long days of walking ! Loved this house !
This is a really fine appartment, with large, comfortable rooms, which are finished to a high standard. It's a short walk to the centre of bustling Melide. We had excellent food delivered.
It was a small but very tidy room. Loved the buffet breakfast at the hotel next door (part of the property and an extra charge that was WELL worth it!). We got a good night's sleep here.
