The historical town appealed to me but the nightclubs, bars, beaches, restaurants and cruises were all available if you wanted them. The location is great and the bus services connecting the districts is very good.

Marbella is beautiful.
Marbella is beautiful. It is kept so clean and the old town is the nicest I have ever been to. We also took a day trip to Puerto Banus, taking the boat across then walked back stopping off for a drink along the way, it takes around an hour but its a beautiful walk along the boardwalk. We went to a bar near the harbour called Tiger Bay, they do great food at reasonable prices and the owners were really helpful in telling us places to go to. Our favourite place to go in the evenings was along the beach called Nelly Mc's Irish Bar, great music, great staff and a happy vibe, definitely a place to visit.

It is quite easy to get to Marbella from Malaga airport - whether by coach or taxi. The town is a mixture of the new and the old, with tower block hotels towards the beach and a charming old town (where we stayed) nearby. There are plenty of parks, restaurants and bars and a very interesting market, besides the usual shops. For sun worshippers there is the beach where sun loungers can be hired by the day. It's quite a small town, so although the bus station is at the edge of the town, with a little advance research we were able to find our way and walk to our accommodation.

Nice and easy city. Friendly people. Clean Beautiful shops I love Casco Antiguo and the Alameda walk starting from the Plaza full of green next to ocean and continue toward the walking area along with restaurants. People enjoying walking. Busier than Puerto Banus but not crowded Good time of the year to visit, but not real summer yet.

Marbella hmmm well some people were very helpful and welcoming but if you are a different ethnicity some not all are not so welcoming that’s not good also even though we were in their country and should speak Spanish it’s a good idea to know at least a little Spanish because some refuse to or don’t speak English so to be on the safe side even if it’s a little try and learn Spanish it makes life easier for you and the locals .
Very nice otherwise and always change out currency because if anything happens again like the outage we encountered you will be stuck also be aware that booking your coach tickets and screen shot then just in case .

Superb design hotel with lovely pool area, most accommodating staff and excellent breakfast buffet. Rooms are light and modern with large balconies, or on the top floor, with large terraces and sea vew. Large parking garage underneath. Prices are reasonable for Marbella standards when staying just off the Golden Mile. A luxury oase in busy Marbella.
Excellent hotel , staff were super friendly and helpful. They even ask you if you are happy with the apartment. Excellent facilities , pool games room, gym.
Breakfast was excellent, buffet lots of choice. Room was very comfortable.best hotel in Spain I have stayed in.
Beach 1 min walk. Few restaurants walking distance.
Great location in the old town of Marbella with lots of nearby restaurants, bars and shops. The beach and promenade are only a short walk away. The hotel is modern and offers a nice rooftop terrace. The room we stayed in was not spacious but convenient for our 3 night stay. Breakfast was really nice as well.
The location is great, right in the centre of Marbella, surrounded by great shops and restaurants and very close to both the old town and the beach. The staff were very helpful! The hotel is also very quiet given the central location.
Hotel Guadalpín Banús has the charm of old times, set in an amazing beachfront location in Marbella. Just a comfortable 10-minute beachside walk to Puerto Banús, it offers a relaxing and pleasant stay.
