In winter, Guardamar is a rather quiete place to stay in. There are still enough facilities and restaurants open, but you easily feel this is a place that thrives in summertime. Weekends were rather busy, though.
Guardamar is a nice place for strolls on the boulevard or palmtree avenida. Santa Pola and Torrevieja are closeby and Alicante is just 40km-ish away. The sun and warmth are always free!

The town/village was quiet when we were there - October. It is a typical Spanish Town, beautiful with local shops, restaurants and absolutely amazing beach with golden sands. There are plenty of bars to suit all types of people.
I must say there was no issue with parking.

a quite typical Spanish town with plenty of eateries and tavernas. The promenade by the park is a great place to sit, have a drink and people watch the families at play on the swings and slides with many a game of chase and football for free entertainment.
Parks are worth a stroll when a rest from the beach is needed. Also a must is to sit on a bench, enjoy an ice cream on the beachfront promenade and people watch to chill out. If your feeling energetic explore the excellent sports facilities in the municipal centre.

It is a lovely Spanish seaside town which is not spoilt by young lager louts. As a British traveller I am glad that it is not spoilt by our not so appreciative younger travellers who all head off to the lively Benidorm! The town is visited by holiday makers from Madrid as well as mainly middle aged/older British tourists who all know how to behave and how to respect the Spanish customs. The town is quite compact and most places can be easily accessed on foot. There are many restaurants and bars to cater for all tastes. They have regular markets It is about an half hour drive away from Alicante Airport and taxis are readily available to transport you. We have visited this town on many occasions and love it.

I wanted a quiet place to stay to relax and gave time to unwind and be by myself. This was IDEAL. The information available for busses etc was a little difficult to fully understand but for the most part the staff were very obliging and helpful. The cleaning ladies were possible the friendliest.
There is NO SHOP close by, so getting cigarettes is an issue,... stock up before you go.

The staff was very nice and explainer everything propetly. The appartment were spaceous and modern decorated. Thr pool outside was perfevtly plaved in the middle and encouraged our kids to swimm regularly. Overall Oasis beach was the best appartment we visited during our Spain trip, it easily outpeforms 4 star hotel appartments visited by us. Thus I strongly recommend Oasis beach as a hotel.
It was a lovely little hotel situated close to the beach and bars . Supermarket close buy too. Rooms were a nice size and had modern bathroom. Very clean . Beds were very comfortable. Staff very friendly.always had a smile.which is nice. Although it's in a busy area and has a cafe attached to it I heard no noise from either and I was only on the 1st floor. Would definitely stay again .
Food was fesh and plentiful. Room was modern and clean with the bonus of a fridge. The hotel is beautifully decorated and very close to the spectacular beach of Guardamar.
