There are quite a few option for restaurants around.
There are quite a few option for restaurants around. And markets to show from. Definitely not a tourist place but friendly local people. Close to large park to some launch if you are taking time off from visiting paris center. It was a best choise to stay where close to RER train to go Disneyland unless you are staying at disneyland hotels.OzerTurkey - 10Scored 10

A great place for getting into Paris to see the sights. The Chateau of Vincennes is also worth seeing and not on many people’s must do list. Few tourists, no crowds and empty seats when you get on the metro. There is even a movie theatre close by.

To me Vincennes is a wonderful suburban community of Metropolitan Paris. A little more green space because of the Parc Floral de Paris and Bois de Vincennes. Every thing you need can be found in the core with a great selection of retail and service stores throughout. As previously stated, excellent location, short walk to subway; small rooms (some at least that I know of), very tight fit going up stairs so if carrying a lot keep that mind (not sure if elevator was working but it equally looked quite small); maybe. Kit a bit deal if the location and price are ok with you; Crystal at front desk was amazing—very friendly and quite helpful with suggestions for the area. Chateau de Vincennes is about a 10 minute walk away but worth the visit, full of history (at least 2 hours).

The Park Floral and the Chateau of Vincennes were good and interesting. People in the park were friendly , and there were events held there. There woods and common ground nearby in which to walk freely.

Vincennes has a wonderful park, which could take several days to fully explore without doing anything else in Paris. The Jardin du Plantes is superb ... you can hire a multi-person bike to see the gardens. You can also hire rowing boats, walk high wires in the treetops or sit reading a book by the lake in there. The area has some lovely shops and restaurants and is a great place to stay if you like more quiet than you’d get in the city centre. There are excellent links into the city centre though and you never have to wait more than a couple of minutes for a metro to take you into the centre.

Great food and drink options in the area. Night reception staff (Marionella & Musa) very friendly and went out of their way to address restaurant, parking and commute questions on arrival and kindly offered to store a cooler with cheese in the hotel fridge for safe keeping during our stay. Rooms small, but clean. Despite concerns outlined below, this is a good value option in a great location.

In a great location with the Metro line 1 taking you straight into Paris and the RER line to Disneyland. The RER will also connect with the line to CDG airport. Parking was 15 Euro a day undercover. Vincennes is a lovely town with excellent fresh food markets and nice restaurants.
