A very convenient smaller town with excellent cheap transport to explore Nice where the Rugby World Cup was being held. a fine town beach with many beachfront restaurants along a boardwalk provided choices for eating while watching the sun go down over nearby Antibes.

An excellent hotel based near the airport.
An excellent hotel based near the airport. The location is great - a few steps to the beach, a dozen or so restaurants on the Esplanade, and the shopping center CAP3000 a short walk away. The room size was great, it was clean, the beds were very comfortable and the balcony looking out to the sea was fabulous. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the hotel's free airport shuttle bus a boon to travellers. All in all, an enjoyable stay - a very welcome bonus at the end of the holiday for weary travellers, and I look forward to returning.

Great location, overpriced. we ate at the restaurabt associated with the hotl and were pleased. We did not get a room with an oeanview as advertised and we were met with a "courteous" apology but nothing more. Shop around before you choose to stay here.

My trip was based in the Cap 3000 mall and a local hotel and conference centre. So I did not use the town much except for travel connections which are very good and it is easy to get to the rest of the Riviera for very good prices.

St. Laurent is the second-largest suburb of the city of Nice, after Cagnes-sur-Mer, in the urban community of Nice Côte d'Azur. It lies adjacent to it on the west side on the other side of the river Var.

Beds were decent and room was nice. However, pictures of hotel’s exteriors don’t reflect reality. Its an old building that smells like damp. Also ironing board and iron only found in a small laundry room on the 1st floor. Very impractical.AAnonymousUnited Kingdom

Hospitality would get the best score at this place, although everything else was really great. We would happily return here again. The room was well equipped - offering even more toileteries than many fancy hotels -, the room had a great airco, comfortable bed. We also received a welcome package with a selection of sweets, fruits, etc. The breakfast was very nice and fresh every morning, we could have it privately on the terrace with an amazing view to the city.

The friendly host was extremely helpful with local travel trips. I'm glad I took Willy's advice and visited, Villfranche-sur-Mer on my return from Monaco. The SNCF station, Saint-Laurent-du-Var is just 7 minutes walk from the villa. Bus/Tram tickets can be purchased at the large modern shopping Mall, about 20 minute walk from the villa. Though for a nicer beach and good swim we went to neighboring Cagnes. 5 minutes walk to the Cap 3000 for shopping and to bus station with Bus no 12 bringing you to Nice. Large balcony with a view to a big nice pine tree and street life Big bonus - underground parking. Not easy to park a bigger car but it's manageable. Owners very welcoming and helpful
