A small, quiet resort without being stuffy. There are lots of good restaurants and there are so many seafood options. We can spend our time freely. Recommended for those who want to spend a relaxing time or walking, hiking as there are rare sightseeing place. It is a favorite town that I like to visit every few years.

Nice uncrowded beach getaway.
Nice uncrowded beach getaway. Good place to base out of as its close to Biarritz and San Sebastien. After visiting most of the Basque Coast St. Jean de Luz was nice place to come back to as it was a very relaxed atmosphere. The town had very nice shops and an attractive square with dining all around.

I have stayed here before which is why I chose to stay here...
I have stayed here before which is why I chose to stay here this time. the hotel is immaculatly clean, has plenty of free parking onsite and is pet friendly, although that was not a requirement for me on this trip.
The gentleman on the reception was friendly and helpful, My limited French was matched by his limited English but we managed to understand eachother with good humour thrown in.
The hotel offers a modest selection of choices for breakfast and is perfectly adequate for most peoples needs, if you need snacks there is a vending machine in the foyer that has hot & cold drinks as well as sweets, biscuits and crisps. My room was very clean and comfortable, it had plenty of wall sockets for using or charging electricals, my only small criticism would be that the lighting was a little dim which made some tasks a little difficult that required more light but this should not really impact on most guests. The hotel although close to a busy road did not suffer from any road noise at all, the bed and bedding was comfortable and warm, the room had an AC and inverter unit but it was not necessary for me to use it so cannot comment on how good it is. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and I would always choose to use it whenever Im passing through on this route, it offers very good value for money in my opinion

Everything. We tried quite hard to find faults and totally failed. The hotel is beautifully situated in a quiet street and very close to the sea front. During our three night stay our car remained safely in the hotel's own covered garage; we explored everywhere on foot. Hundreds of small shops, a wide choice of restaurants and one of the most amazing Basque churches we had ever visited. We found that Saint Jean de Luz is a really exciting and interesting old town with much to see and discover, even in late November
The hotel is really pretty and in the heart of the shopping and eating district. It was wonderful to just step out and be in a shop, bar or restaurant and only a 5 minute walk to the beach. The room was spotlessly clean and even had a little balcony to soak up the atmosphere. Jennifer is super friendly and really helpful, she mapped out a tour of the region for us which we followed, great to see Biarritz and surrounding villages. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we hope to be back soon!
Property is stunning, the surroundings are breathless and so is the beach view. The two Silvias at the reception desk were courteous, helpful and friendly. The only person we found unfriendly was our sever on the patio, Batiste, he didn’t seem to want to be there serving…very unfriendly and rude, I had to have a gentleman help me open a bottle…. Overall, the friendly people made our stay very pleasant. Great rooms, nesspresso coffee, toiletries, a 5 star hotel 🥰🥰
This historic hotel is at a great spot right on the corniche along the beach. We took a room overlooking the beach/water and it was wonderful. Varied buffet breakfast but with only scrambled eggs as an option; we felt it a bit overpriced at 19 Euros pp. Others might differ. The staff was extremely accommodating, and they provide valet parking at an additional fee with unlimited in/out access.
Lovely boutique hotel very close to St Jean de Luz centre. Staff are very friendly and really helpful. Dogs are allowed and off road parking is available. Continental breakfast buffet is available in a lovely breakfast room. Rooms have a bath which is important to my wife. This is our 3rd time of staying here and will book again next year.
This is a beautiful kind of old fashioned hotel. Very comfy and super friendly staff. The location is great as it is just a minute walk to the beach, a bit noisy at night but that is outweighed by the fact that you can hear the waves in the night and you can't be right in town without a bit of noise. Super breakfast. We will be back!
Lovely little property. The hotel messaged me that there was a fire next door and that they would issue a refund if needed. I'm glad we didn't cancel. There was no sign of anything wrong. We stayed in the suite with the large balcony, which was great. The hotel is steps from the beach and the main square of Saint Jean de Luz.

The owners of the hotel were great. The Breakfast was excellent, lots of choices, great coffee. Don’t miss the traditional Basque cake. Perfect location to explore. Garage Parking nearby. Comfortable bed. Honestly, couldn’t ask for more!!!! Perfect
This was an apartment so we prepared our own breakfast. The location was absolutely perfect --two steps out of the door and you are in the centre of everything --shops, restaurants, underground parking (Indigo) near Les Halles market.
best location ! great decor and the spa 🧖♀️ is clearly the gem of this hotel. and it’s right in front of the beach. oh and the breakfast restaurant with the terrace is amazing 🤩.
Close to highway but very quite
Staffs are very helpful
Room is simple but clean. Especially the bed is cleaner than some high end hotel. Love it!
