The breakfast was outstanding.
Well managed that a ' degustation ' of house wines took place before the dinner.
The location is beautiful.

A place out of time, an old village of fishermen with a lot of charme. The village has a concentric plant around the ruins of an old military tower, lying between swamps for salt extraction and the sea.

We travelled with our 2 dogs through France to Southern Spain so this was a stopover for us. The location and facilities were both great. The dogs loved the garden, and we the local wine grown at the Chateaux!

We drove a little round the area. Narbonne plage was more to our liking than Gruissan, only 20 min away.
Restaurants nice. Food good.
Plenty of nice wine yards with good local products.
Few spoke English, not a problem for us but if you speak any French it can be a little challenging. But you will manage.
Primarily French people which I find refreshing when I go to see somewhere else.
Not far to old cities in the area.
You need a car if you want to see something more than just Gruissan.

Gruissan marina is an attempt to duplicate the much larger resort of Cap d'Agde a few tens of miles up coast. While in Cap d'Agde they ended up spoiling the enormous sandy beaches environment building everywhere, they leaved this part mostly intact in Gruissan, which is much more balanced and still shows large patches of how was this region's seaside 40 years before. Old Gruissan town is more looking to the salty marshes and a certainly deserve attention. The whole place has some strongly endearing feelings.

The best thing about it was the setting in the midst of the natural Park. Great for cycling and walking with easy access to beaches.
We had lovely fresh seafood where ever we went. We particularly liked the wonderful fresh seafood at Le Cambuse de Saunier

Gruissan is a nice fishing village.
Gruissan is a nice fishing village. It has a big beach and nice areas to walk around. In the surrounding protected area you can see many species of wild birds (flamingoes, storks, etc.)
It is very close to Narbonne and Beziers.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The croissants and petits pains au chocolat for breakfast were the best we had on a month long trip in southern France. The room was very small, but the updating was done well with places for personal items and also electric outlets by both night stands. We prefer walkin showers, and the tile used was safe and not slippery. The air conditioner functioned well and kept us comfortable in 106 degree heat. The hotel was immaculate.
Had such a perfect stay here for great value. Stephanie is an excellent host and knows the little things that make a good stay - the shower was amazing, nice towels, good air con. The breakfast was really special - lots of homemade products. We loved the rustic exterior and windows, and the location is perfect for strolling around the gorgeous old village centre. Stephanie was so helpful and personable. Thank you!
The two flats were very comfortable, clean, big, well supplied (kitchen, dining room...) and the beds were very comfortable.
We were surprised by the beauty of the village and the politeness of villagers (very little noise at night at the bar terraces), amazing open-air market on Saturday. Several village shops where to buy bread, meat and fruit&vegetables on foot, and some big supermarkets some minutes away.
Beautiful chalet, functional and cozy. Great Sea view, just 50 meters to the nice beach, all the facilities you may need inside and in the village, everything was in very good condition, amazing host. We loved it, felt like at home, and would definitely recommend to families and couples looking for an authentic beach holidays. I would surely consider booking it again in the future.
A homey BnB. We spent most of our tjme outdoors to enjoy the natural beauty of Gruissan. But we loved coming back for naps - the aircon was much needed respite from the heat and mosquitos. Very well located with most places in walking distance. The two bicycles provided were great to access other places too. A kind host and friendly resident cat.
The pool area was very smart, and although it was small it wasn't busy. The beach was walking distance, there was a lovely patisserie next door and a couple of restaurants. The local town of Gruissan is only a short drive, it has a great market and lovely atmosphere.
My work set up a team building exercise in Gruissan for a friday so I decided to make it a weekend out of it. This property was just perfect. Pet friendly, clean, quiet and welcoming. Close to where my meeting was so I could check on the pups during the day.
This is a really lovely property in the old village of Gruissan and it has beeb beautifully maintained and our hosts were very friendly and helpful. There were lovely touches all over. We really liked our stay here.
Beautiful hotel in the perfect location, walking distance to all of the old town and the water. Breakfast was delicious, hosts were super helpful and kind. We would definitely stay here again!
Fully equipped for a short stay in a location in the centre of the village within short walking distance of restaurants and shops. Busy but not noisy. The owner was very friendly and helpful.
Nice apartment with fully equipped kitchen. The apartment has access by lift. Closed and safe parking lot in front of building. Quiet area and close to a charming port for a nice walk.
Great private apartment, well equiped and comfortable. Great price. Lovely ladies that came to clean the room, even gave us a lift to Narbonne. Great stay all round.
