I live in Whistler Creekside and ski 100+ days per year here. Compared to Tignes/ Val D'Isere; Whistler is a fart in a wind-storm; as the Scale is off the charts! This place rocks for an expert skier like me. Also: Excellent foods prepared by someone who cares! Compared to what Vail charges here for lifts and food; We are getting burned. My favourite photo here: from up some funky poma-lift from Val Claret looking across to the Tufts lift: My blue-sky boot-top-pow warm-up run down to the kilometer vertical of the Grande Motte funicular... ha! It is fun to be an expert with Fifty 100+-day seasons. I skied with three Swedes I met and All had FIS national or World Cup races in their history. We Rocked !

the shuttle bus is a very good service around tignes.
the shuttle bus is a very good service around tignes. However shuttles to and from Val disere are sparse and over crowded. The views from the glacier are exceptional and the resort is very well run by the pisteurs etc. For experienced advanced and intermediate skiers this resort is fantastic. for beginners planning a route is a must.

Tignes was a great resort.
Tignes was a great resort. Everything was within walking distance of our apartment but there was an also a great free bus service.
We loved the restaurant La Julietta - the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was great. We ate there twice.
We wanted to eat at The Brasserie L’Alpin and went in on the off chance one evening to ask if they had any availability. There were empty tables (it was about 8.30pm) but we were told they were full in quite a rude manner. I did them email the next day to ask if we could make a booking for later in the week but were told that they were full every night but they could do the following week. This felt slightly more friendly than the in person encounter but as we were leaving at the end of the week, it wasn’t any use to us.
The skiing was great. We were there in half term and it was so quiet on the slopes. We were able to ski straight onto most lifts, or had less than a 2 minute queue time. The busiest one was Le Grattalu heading back at the end of the day and even that was less than 10 minutes. We’ve been to other places where we’ve queued for 40 minutes to get on lifts!
There were plenty of runs for all levels and the snow was good. We will definitely go back to Tignes.

This is an amazing place for both a summer and winter holiday. This is the first time we have stayed in the summer and there was so much to do. We also couldn't believe how good value the activities were with the purchase of the my tignes card. As a result, quite a lot of the activities were free which was brilliant. We will definitely be going back because the weather was perfect with warm sunshine, blue skies but not the intense heat that is being experienced in some of parts of Europe.

Tignes Val Claret is an excellent place to go for snowboarding/ski-ing - a great compact resort with plenty of shops and restaurants/bars and apres ski too . I went snowboarding in Tignes in march and the snow was superb. I highly recommend Tignes Val Claret.
We were a bit hesitant to book Hideout because there were not any reviews on. booking.com. Turns out it is because of change of ownership and we were not disappointed. The room was very spacious and extremely clean. There is a fun communal area. The best part of Hideout was probably the location which is perfect - very close to the slopes and amazing views over Tignes Le Lac. Hot tub and sauna a nice bonus. We will come bak I'm sure.
location so close to ski lift. amazing hosts Claude and Dominique. beautifully appointed 3 bed chalet. charming picturesque ski village. local cuisine excellent and easy walk. chalet very well renovated and fitted out. certainly will return if coming back to Tignes. very comfortable 10 day visit. added bonus Claude is one of the best ski instructors we have had in all our ski holidays.
Great location within seconds walking to 2 large chair lifts that can take you to all pistes in Tignes and Val d’Isere. This is the best place for wintersporters who want to be first on the pistes. You can pass by the apartment anytime as many pistes end there and then leave again with minutes. Best location! The staff was very friendly and hospitable.
10/10 on every levels. The hotel being directly on the slopes makes the ski trip so comfortable!!!
Best in class breakfast. We booked HB and went every night to the restaurant “les Chanterelles” where they have a fine dining 4 course set menu. We also enjoyed the spa with outdoor heated pool.
We arrived in the automn season, leading to a lot of restaurants still being closed. Dominique prepared us a lovely meal at a fair price. Furthermore, Claude advised us on the most feasible way to plan our day of skiing (parking and shuttle bus to Val Claret, ski hiring and ski passes).
The space is huge for our group activities and we have a lot of choices of activities just in the chalet during night time (pool, sauna etc!!). The ski area is just outside right there, so it is easy to get on the slope and come back for rest during the day.
The staff were very friendly and supportive. Béatrice showed us everything when we arrived at hotel.
The room has everything we need and is with a stunning mountain view.
Breakfast was also good, we love the ham and the pain au chocolat.
this is an exceptional hotel in an exceptional location. The staff made every officer to make your stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. very attentive and the hotel itself was gorgeous. we strongly recommend a stay.
The hotel has a great pool facility with Jacuzzi, Sauna and Hammam. Everything was clean and warm, excellent after skiing.
The staff at the hotel was really really nice and helpful, always smiling and giving great advice.
If you are going there for skiing, its about 10 mins walk to the main square where the ski schools meet , and the main lifts are located (in Tignes le Lac).
Nice sunrise view (clouds above the mountains) on several days.
Great ski in ski out location.
Nicely stocked kitchen with good ceramic stove for guests that cook (like we did).
Good space distribution with small sleeping room and bigger living room with nice and big dinning table.
Excellent location for a ski in ski out holiday. Great facilities at the hotel for a hastle free stay. An excellent varied selection of food for lunch and dinner with the choice of one night in the Savoyarde restaurant.
New beutifull hotel near the ski slopes.
Best recommendations if you want to ski in Tignes!
Never been twice in any hotel in the Alpes but if I ever go to Tignes again that will be VoulezVous hotel!
The apartment was small but well renovated and well equiped
Very close to the pistes and a super market
Next to the bus stop for the navette to Tignes Le Lac
