She provided a lovely room for us to stay in which was beautifully styled and a very generous breakfast on the terrace with a brilliant view out towards the mountains. A quiet part of the Ascain suburbs but close to town for easy access to restaurants. Also a great location for exploring the mountain region and not far from the beaches. Convenient and safe street parking.

The beds were very comfortable and we had a view of the river from our balcony. The rooms were clean and there was plenty of room for our things. The breakfast was excellent, better than I was expecting. Unfortunately the weather wasn't good enough for us to have it outside which must be very pleasant when you can.

It was only a stop-over on our way North. But we found it could make a perfect base to explore the area around. The location is wonderful, only a short distance from Saint Jean and the delightful village of Ascain. For breakfast we were presented with home-made jam and a good selection of fresh products.

Our room had been recently renovated to a high standard and was well furnished.
