We enjoyed the balcony overlooking the ocean. It's an older property, and the room was updated and clean. The furniture placement was tight. If you plan on using the work desk, you might have to move something. The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the train station and maybe 10 - 15 minutes from the town center where we found a nice beach area by the harbor. Sylvia at the front desk was patient with all our questions, and her assistance made our stay.

After visiting a number of locations along the French...
After visiting a number of locations along the French Riviera (Saint-Tropez, Cannes, Eze, Grasse, Nice, Monaco, and Sanremo Italy), we agreed that Menton was our favorite city! It is charming, just the right size, and built in a beautiful location on a hillside overlooking the sea. We will definitely return to Menton to spend more time enjoying the lovely culture, welcoming people, and amazing sites!

A beautiful town and area with much to see and do. Plenty of cafes and resaurants but also plenty of nice, quiet spots.
Good train services to Nice and Monaco and it's only a short train ride in the other direction to Ventemiglia, Italy which is also beautiful.
Beware that Menton has some very steep hills!

A lovely town with many nice shops and restaurants. The old town is lovely to walk around and the beaches are pleasant. Nice to be able to walk to Italy and the trains made many other places along the coast very accessible.

Pleasant town with all the facilities you need.
Pleasant town with all the facilities you need. Proximity to the sea adds to the experience. Great place to stay for the Monaco Grand Prix, as we did. It is a much easier train ride than staying in Nice.

Menton in my opinion if the best spot on the French Riviera.
Menton in my opinion if the best spot on the French Riviera. It's that good mix of class and French authenticity while not being too expensive and not being too touristy. Go there while it's still real.

Very nice, newly renovated hotel in an excellent location. additionally I was welcomed with a very tasty breakfast, artisan products, menu with a touch of citrus, which is signature for Menton. Traveling is food experience too, so I’ve enjoyed having something else rather then I used to have in dozens of other hotels. I appreciate the personalized accessories and colors that harmonize with the architecture of the city. Thank you and best regards!
It was our 3rd stay at the hotel. We love coming back to Menton and this is where we always stay. The friendly, family atmosphere makes us feel welcome. The combination of classic French Riviera aesthetics and modern comfort makes Richelieu perfect for travellers of all ages. The location is wonderful - in the old town, near the beach, Monaco is only 10 minutes away with the train. Thank you! We look forward to our next visit.
It was an amazing stay at Hôtel de Londres. The room was very, very nice. It was clean and had a pleasant view on the garden and the sea. Also, extremely nice staff which is always a big plus. If we had to come back to Menton, we would definitely chose to stay in this hotel again.
We had a lovely stay at the Hotel Riva Art & Spa. The staff and Hotel facilities were excellent. We would definitely recommended the hotel to all our friends and family and will definitely be returning when back in the South of France next year 😃
Great location, everything at your doorstep, really quiet, helpful host and secure parking place very close to the apartment. We'll definitely be back.Menton is the pearl of France.
