We really enjoyed our stay. The host is exceptional and devotes himself to entertaining you and explaining the history of the chateaux. Our room was vast and beautifully decorated, as is the whole chateaux. It's a bit out of the way so I'm not sure there was anywhere else to eat. That said, our meal in the chateaux was beautifully cooked, and served as is we were royalty! We paid €35 for a bottle of wine that was good but not special. That said I was given a free beer, and some free, very strong, and historical liqueur! We spent a very special night here and we'll remember it as being quite unique!

Frederic was the perfect host welcoming us to his wonderful home. It was the perfect stopover on a trip to the Alsace giving an opportunity to visit an area of France previously unknown to us. The accommodation was extremely comfortable with a gorgeous large bedroom. His food was lovely, especially the tart at breakfast and we can’t recommend enough. We would love to return in the summer.

First class breakfast served by Frederic, our host. Frederic is a 'larger than life' individual who made us very welcome. Although our adult daughter had decided to join us at the last minute, Frederic had rearranged the bedroom to accommodate two large - and very comfortable - beds. The bedroom had a bathroom with a spa bath (which could be difficult for those with mobility problems because of steps) and a separate toilet. All was very well appointed and the decor was traditional and very attractive. We would certainly stay there again.

Quirky uniqueness of an impressive old chateau, owned and managed by an extraordinary, proficient, very entertaining gentleman. There is just one very large bedroom and we felt like we had a personal butler. The dinner and breakfast were superb and everything was served with style and high quality.

Frederick is a superb host. He's full of enthusiasm, and nothing was too much trouble. He cooked us the most wonderful evening meal and breakfast was plentiful with a good variety of food.
