Elevated above the Creek on the River Dart in Kingswear, you will find our beautiful 2 bedroomed cottage with stunning views across to Dartmouth. We have the luxury of having the end of terrace cottage allowing us the room to store paddle boards, kayaks and cycles alongside the property and in our store area. Inside the newly renovated cottage we have a lounge dining room and new kitchen. Upstairs is the bathroom and twin bedroom with single trundle beds underneath which can also zip together as another king bed, in addition to the master bedroom. There is some free parking within 100 yards and a public long stay carpark at Darthaven Marina. We do have a shared driveway for the drop-off of your luggage.

I am a keen kayaker and marathon runner and I am a Mum of four. I am a real advocate of exploring and enjoying the South Hams as there is so much on offer for families and couples alike to enjoy. I really do love seeing the satisfaction and pleasure that our guests enjoy on a stay in this beautiful part of South Devon. Kingswear is a small village on the opposite side of the River Dart to Dartmouth. Kingswear has access to Dartmouth via the Lower Ferry at the Kingswear Quay and from the same location as the Dartmouth Steam Railway that provides journeys from Kingswear to Paignton on their historic steam train stock. They also make round robin trips on both the train and riverboat cruises which are always popular with visitors to the area. Agatha Christies Greenway House is passed by on the train journey and is another focal point for visitors to the area with its stunning house, views and gardens. Torbay and the English Riviera is another wonderful location to visit, with an array of stunning beaches and things to do, including the Paignton Zoo. Britannia Naval College in Dartmouth is also well worth a visit with its commanding view of the whole of the River Dart. Walks from the cottage are as long or short as you fancy, with the South West Coast path accessible from Kingswear or Dartmouth. A lovely walk is to the Day-mark which is located near the Coleton-Fishacre National Trust Property and provides wonderful views across to Start Bay lighthouse. Shorter walks along the Dart following the train tracks are a lovely shorter round trip which allows for a trip across the river via the Higher ferry, walking around Dartmouth, returning via the Lower ferry. The Dartmouth Castle is an English Heritage site and also has lovely walks around it to it via Warfleet in Dartmouth. The views of the River Dart are unrivalled from our aspect, with the most magnificent sunrises and sunsets, and our Creekside position allows for a whole range of water sports should you be so inclined! We also can facilitate storage of SUP Paddle-boards, Kayaks and bicycles for you at the property for the duration of your stay. There is as much or as little to do here as you want, either way we hope you enjoy your stay!
