Good free parking facilities. Good public transport. Pub food was generally expensive Restaurants were lovely and good quality food and prices. Local entertainment was lacking i.e. cinema, bingo, theatre. Great for coastal walks and wildlife. Local residents were very helpful and friendly.

Nice fishing town with an active colourful harbour and great cliff walks just out of town. We weren't really there for a holiday and it was very much the off-season but there are a few other attractions both in the town and nearby which would be good in the summer.

Arbroath is a small town, very well situated for beautiful beaches and a short drive away from some beautiful glens. We went hill walking and spent time just walking along the beach, although it was cold it was still a very nice experience. We visited two restaurants around the harbour, the fish pie and steak pie were very nice. In addition there are lots of places to sample fresh fish etc. there are fishing trips available and also nearby there is a horse riding school that we went too.

Location was ideal - easy short walk to the town centre. Property was nicely furnished and very clean. Comfortable beds. Easy access to shore via back gate. Nice outdoor area for when it is sunny. If you like Arbroath smokies there were several fishmongers nearby.
