The building itself was beautifully unique, as were was the furnishings. The gardens were beautifully maintained with stunning flowers and lots of outdoor seating. Small touches such as fruit, sweets and refreshments dotted around for guests as well as being absolutely spotless made for a very comfortable stay.

Good free parking facilities. Good public transport. Pub food was generally expensive
Restaurants were lovely and good quality food and prices. Local entertainment was lacking i.e. cinema, bingo, theatre. Great for coastal walks and wildlife. Local residents were very helpful and friendly.

Nice fishing town with an active colourful harbour and great cliff walks just out of town. We weren't really there for a holiday and it was very much the off-season but there are a few other attractions both in the town and nearby which would be good in the summer.

Arbroath is a small town, very well situated for beautiful beaches and a short drive away from some beautiful glens. We went hill walking and spent time just walking along the beach, although it was cold it was still a very nice experience.
We visited two restaurants around the harbour, the fish pie and steak pie were very nice. In addition there are lots of places to sample fresh fish etc.
there are fishing trips available and also nearby there is a horse riding school that we went too.

Location was ideal - easy short walk to the town centre. Property was nicely furnished and very clean. Comfortable beds. Easy access to shore via back gate. Nice outdoor area for when it is sunny. If you like Arbroath smokies there were several fishmongers nearby.
The hotel is in a great location close to everything, room was a good size, very clean, great atmosphere in the restaurant with lovely food and a fantastic range of delicious cocktails. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
