Everything is close by easy to find. Shopping centre good and my husband bought new shoes me a bag.
Had great chips before entering pier for a walk to end. Ate at The Great Western Hotel which was exceptional. Sea isn't in during the day doesnt matter. Walk round to the old pier for a lovely look at how old weston used to be like. Lovely old buildings, well maintained , some improvements in recent years has rejuvenated a tired resort

Was good to have a wetherspoon ( Cabot Cove Hotel ) there for drinks and reasonable prices for food . Other cafes and hotels on seafront food prices were very pricy to say the least.
Fish and chip restaurant was very good . Very easy to get around Weston Super Mare

Weston is a lovely seaside town, in an old fashioned English sort of way. It has a pier, a good selection of shops - not many independents though - and amusements for the kids. Plenty of fish and chips and rock shops, but also some lovely restaurants. A few days is enough to spend there. Never been at the height of the season, but can imagine it can get pretty "lively", especially around the large Wetherspoons on the sea front.

I will be visiting again, it's a good venue.
I will be visiting again, it's a good venue. Great choice of eating places and good walks, I also walked on Sand Bay before leaving the area. It's a bit noisy at night though, if you're eating outside on a terrace on the main seafront road, as I was, the traffic noise can be loud from some drivers who seem to compete to make the most noise with their vehicles, but we have a few of those at home too!

A lovely seaside town with lots of victorian buildings and all the facilities required to ensure a good stay. It has lots of hotels from basic to high end and lots of self catering types of accomodation. There are plenty of attractions in the town, eg, the expansive beach, cafes, restaurants, shopping centres, beach shops, donkey rides, arcades, fair ground rides, and 2 cinemas. WSM is a good central base to visit other natural attractions too with only short drives away eg the Cheddar gorge and Wookey hole. It has a large local wood with an adventure playground within. There are a number of local parks with childrens playgrounds. It's has a long, safe promenade. It caters quite well for dogs with water bowls scattered around and dogs are allowed in a number of pubs. Many of the pubs serve gastro and del style food. WSM is well signposted and although the roads are relatively busy it is easy to navigate. The seafront is attractively light- up at night.

Fantastic small hotel. Owner was very cheerful and helpful. Rooms were very nice, thought had obviously gone into a lot of the small details. Breakfast was fabulous. Just a short walk to the seafront (albeit back uphill at the end of the evening).
We liked where it was situated, the hotel was mostly clean, we liked the staff. The hostory behind it was very interesting. The view we had was amazong even though we didnt get the seafront room.
