Bramley Cottage is a detached house at the heart of the quiet village of Singleton in the South Downs National Park. It nestles in a mature garden bounded by a chalk stream which flows each winter and is often dry in the summer months.
The main bedroom has a king size bed, en suite shower room . There are two other double bedrooms a new bath and shower room and a further shower room downstairs.
We make full use of our double glazed conservatory to enjoy the garden throughout the year.
This used to be our family home. We were brought up in Singleton and have a lasting knowledge of events and places of interest in our area.
The cottage is close to Goodwood, The Weald and Downland Living Museum, West Dean Gardens and the city of Chichester which still has its Roman walls. It is an excellent base for exploring Arundel Castle and cathedral as well as Midhurst Cowdary Park and Petworth and Goodwood House.
The cottage is close to the popular sandy beach at West Wittering and the Roman Palaces at Fishbourne and Bignor.
All of the pubs in the valley of the river Lavant stock a good selection of local and regional ales and are renowned for their high standards of catering.
The city of Chichester is six miles away and has a main line train station and there is a bus service that comes the village every thirty minutes throughout the day.
There is room to park two cars on the drive in the front of the house and further parking in a lay by opposite.
