Causeway Cottage is an 18th century small stone-built cottage renovated for 21st century needs. It offers a warm welcome to visitors to Cartmel including dogs (extra cleaning fee for Dogs) The cottage is situated on a busy corner street location, it has no outside space.
The cottage is the childhood home of Matt Frahm who now lives in LA. I look after it for him and manage the bookings. Please do get in touch with me for further information.
Cartmel is famous for its stunning Medieval Priory and village, its charm and the Horse Races held during the summer months. It offers fine dining at L’Enclume and a variety of restaurants and country pubs. There are lovely walks up on the fells with mountain and sea views and beautiful woodland to explore. The Lakes and Mountains are a short drive away (15 mins to Windermere).
