This Hotel was value for money and the breakfast was good but possibly due to the fact that it is offset because it is dated and in need of refreshing. I would recommend for a short stay.

Brilliant city definitely recommend staying at the Adelphi...
Brilliant city definitely recommend staying at the Adelphi due to the central location and great facilities on site the offer for £25 for late check-out and 4x drinks and 2x breakfasts is an absolute steal and not to be missed.
Theirs also free chocolates at reception which was a nice touch.
I'd also recommend The Central on Marquis Street due to it's nice location short walk to Lime Street station and a 2 minute walk to a Tesco Express be dubious about the damage depsoit being £100 and don't expect the staff via WhatsApp to be very helpful or professional.

Liverpool is the most fantastic city.
Liverpool is the most fantastic city. Every aspect of it is great, architecture of all periods, every level of dining, music everywhere, a lot of it live, fabulous sights, the light and views and it is so small that everywhere is walkable. The people are wonderful. The council street cleaners manage to restore the place every morning after the previous night`s fun. There is so much of everything. So many Liverpudlians have left, but why?

We liked all the places we visited - the central library is stunning, and we enjoyed the dock area, Walker art gallery, museums, Port Sunlight (including the museum and art gallery), cathedral, the architecture,
and the Cavern Club and surrounding area. The underground (Merseyrail) is very good.

Took a basic room without window as only there at night. However room was spotless and shower one of the best I have had in a hotel. Also comfy bed and able to control temperature of room with a simple switch.
.
Five minutes walk from cavern club for those that like the Beatles and about 15 from lime street railway station and the same from the main bus station and close to Albert Dock and main shopping areas in the city centre .
Staff very helpful as well.
If back in Liverpool would use it again
When you arrive you'll have a chance to meet Eric who is an amazing host and greeter. His knowledge of the city and sights is second to non. He will make you feel so happy to be back in Liverpool. He is funny, such a great character who wants to help as do all of the reception, bar and restaurant staff. We loved the hotel and spend considerable time in hotels, this is the best 4 to 5 star hotel in The NW possibly England.
From arriving to departing the whole experience was brilliant. The staff were very friendly. The room did everything it said on the tin when I was booking it. The bed was that comfortable I had the best night’s sleep I’ve had for years. The room rate of £45 was exceptionally reasonable for a Liverpool city centre hotel. This was a first time stay but I’ll definitely be back 😊
