It was a great experience. The apartment was at the top floor, it was spacious, clean and decorated in great style. But what truly made our visit outstanding is the friendly staff. The person who checked us in, made even my 7-year old son feel very welcomed by offering something to drink upon our arrival. Definitely worth coming back. Also what a great location!
Conveniently set in the centre of Bath, Broad Street Townhouse provides free WiFi throughout the property and a bar.

Beautiful little hotel. £16 towards breakfast included which covered pretty much everything on the menu & drinks too. Lots of stairs to get to some rooms but it’s in a really old building so very narrow and no room for a lift. We felt it added to the charm. Great staff, everyone we came across was lovely.

Location is excellent. The venue is split across two buildings. One houses the dining facilities, some rooms and the ‘honesty bar’. We were in the second building a short distance away. The location of this was truly lovely - the main door opening onto a square with a large tree. Viewers of Bridgerton will recognise the location.
The Abbey and Roman Baths are literally round the corner.
The rooms vary in size, spread over three floors. There is no lift. We were in room 19 on the third floor. I would describe it as an attic room. Adequate for a short stay but smaller than expected. Toiletries including earplugs included. Room 17, in comparison, was much larger and looked out over the square. If you struggle with stairs, you need to be specific with your requirements when booking re: floor and room size / facilities. The honesty bar is fantastic.
Providing free on-site car parking in Bath, Bathen House provides a shared lounge and free WiFi. Built in 1910, the property is within 2 km of Royal Crescent and 2.2 km of The Circus Bath.

An attractive looking property with ample free parking, in a fairly convenient location for visiting Bath and the surrounding area.
The staff were friendly and efficient, our room was lovely - large, comfortably furnished, light and very clean. Large bathroom with a really good shower and also a stand alone bath.
Breakfast was excellent in terms of choice and quality of food, and service.
The lounge with honesty bar was really nice.

Wonderful, World Heritage-listed Bath is an impressive mix of Georgian architecture and Roman legacy. Its most famous landmark is the fantastic, natural hot spring Roman Baths. Although everything above the pillar bases is from a later period, you still get an idea of its appearance in Roman times. Sadly you can’t bathe here, but across the street the rooftop pool at Thermae Bath Spa offers views of Bath Abbey and the surrounding hills.
Check out the stained-glass windows in the abbey, England’s last remaining Gothic church. Its square houses Pump Rooms dispensing hot spring water from the Roman baths.
Just behind, the Parade Gardens by the River Avon overlook Bath Rugby Club, the multi-levelled Pulteney Weir and Grade I-listed Pulteney Bridge, lined with shops. Other Bath shopping options are the Southgate Shopping Centre, the bohemian Walcot Street market, and high street stores on Milsom and George streets.
North is The Circus, a circular square lined with Georgian townhouses, only marginally less impressive than the Royal Crescent down the road. You can now visit number 1 Royal Crescent, restored to its 18th-century glory.
Before heading to Bristol Airport from your Bath accommodation, take time to try the famous Sally Lunn Bun and stop at the pleasant pubs along the Kennet and Avon Canal.
I was there was there for cycling and it was great.

Obviously the architecture - but also happy to see a vibrant City centre and not too many closed-up shops!
Impressed by 'The Raven' pub - for good ales, good food and good service. Also 'The Star' for draught Bass. Went to a gig at 'Komedia' - a great venue (an adapted 1920s cinema with good acoustics). Also, selling the cheapest ale I drank in Bath at £5 a pint! The Grapes pub opposite was a good starting off point too...
My hotel was at Batheaston - so I also found 'The George' at Bath Hampton. Located alongside the Kennet and Avon Canal and offering food, beer and beer-gardens... Just under an hour's walk from Bath.

Beautiful city. Plenty to do and see. Guided tours were excellent, providing plenty of information and interesting facts. Roman Baths, Bath Abbey, Thermae Spa, Jane Austen Centre, Mary Shelly's House of Frankenstein and Mayor's guided walking tours all well worth seeing/doing. Plenty of different restaurants and shops to enjoy. Very easy to get around on foot.

The Roman Baths are definitely worth the visit.
The Roman Baths are definitely worth the visit. Wondering around the city centre is nice and the architecture of some buildings is very interesting. We had a dinner in a place 5 minutes walking distance from the B&B that is of very good quality: The Scallop Shell the name tells it all: fish, fresh and well prepared.

The rooms were really clean, had great air conditioning and lighting. It was well equipped and in Bath city centre meaning it was close to all shops and attractions in the city. Considering the area and the conditions of the hotel, I would even dare to say that it’s even cheaper than you would think. The staff was friendly and quick to resolve any issue. A big thank you to all staff members.
Very friendly and helpful staff. We had an excellent evening meal and very good breakfast. The hotel is brilliantly placed for the train station and also for easy access to the city centre. The room was spacious, comfortable and quiet, with a very good bathroom.
Hotel was a 10-15 min walk from Bath City centre through the lovely hotel gardens and Stanley gardens, there is a great spa with indoor and outdoor pools, bed was large and super comfortable. The staff at reception were very polite and friendly.
Extremely liked the hotel - it’s beautiful inside, with parking. Exceptional breakfasts. I have taken bath for all 3 days of my stay - the bath was clean, thank you.
