Great property for our needs, had everything we needed plus more, toys and games for the kids, fresh fruit to eat, we cooked most meals in the home and had everything we needed to do this. All the beds were very comfy. We felt very at home.

Located in Morpeth, 26 km from St James' Park, The Beresford Arms provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant.

We were in an accessible room. It is clear that a great deal of very careful thought has gone in to making it fully wheelchair accessible. Doors are extra wide. All handles are easy to push including for the sink. Grab rails around toilet and shower: seat in shower, which is wet room style with no lips or steps. Room has no lips or steps; hard floors. Sink is at a height suitable for wheelchair users; toilet ditto. Bed was comfy, shower good, room a good size (and big enough that a wheelchair could manoeuvre around the bed). Food is truly excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful, breakfast is included and very nice. A wonderful place which I heartily recommend.
