Excellent location. Beautifully renovated. Warm and inviting. Photos accurate. Communications with the owners faultless. Just check on parking details when you leave the car… instructions vary.
Minus - no salt/ pepper, no teapot, coffee pot or tin opener
I was there for a 4 day course. The recent comments about the bed are entirely accurate. It should be noted that it’s a 4’ wide bed and it squeaks whenever you move an inch. Literally!
After the 3rd night we decamped to Premier Inn for a decent nights sleep.

Visiting The Falkland Arms is like stepping back in time. It is a beautiful old inn in a small village. We were in bedroom #6 which was in the attic. It was very comfortable and nicely decorated with period furniture.

It was very relaxing, i think it was definitely a great idea to choose this location for such a relaxing getaway, as the hotel grounds were massive, which definitely helped with escaping the city murmur. If only the jacuzzis were open for longer than 7!

This is a wonderful Cotswold market town, with a variety of shops, bars and cafes. It has some interesting architectural features worth visiting, e.g. The Alms Houses and St.Mary's Church. It would be ideal for a romantic break. It's location is handy for day trips to explore the nearby towns of Moreton in the Marsh, Stow on the Wold etc.
The Crown & Cushion is a good place to stay and it has a nice bar. The Chequers, Blue Boar and The Fox are all worth a visit too!

A cute little country town with a few shops and pubs, and good access to other parts of the Cotswolds. There's a fantastic playground in Chipping Norton which I would highly recommend, and a free car park with ample spaces and toilets (20p to use)

Make sure you go on market day in summer and take a cool bag to make the most of the produce.
Check out the yarn shop - a fantastic spot for knitters.
Take time to wander round the town and have a look at the almshouses to see what social housing used to look like.

What didn’t we like, we booked a family room and received a king bed, double sofa bed and an extra room with a single bed with plenty of playing space for our little girl. We had drinks, dinner and breakfast while we were here. All at a reasonable price and all food was served fresh and delicious. All staff members were lovely and approachable. This is a lovely hotel in the nicest of areas. Thank you so much for having us
The property is in a really great location for Chipping Norton with good shops, pubs and restaurants literally a few minutes walk away. The flat was clean, tidy and spacious. Contrary to what we had read in other reviews, we didn’t notice the road noise much, only heard the town bells once and didn’t find it too chilly in the flat (was about 20degrees).
Spacious and beautiful apartment. Location in Chipping Norton close to the city center. The communication with the hosts was great. Highly recommended!
