Great location and a spacious well equipped room. Breakfasts were superb, just a shame they weren't doing dinner as the standard of food was really good and we would definitely have eaten there.

This was my first visit to this Pub . I did feel that the price was quite high for a single room but I have to say the room was well furnished , very smart furniture , bed and Pillows were very comfortable , en-suite was also very smart . Food offering was good and breakfast was wonderful and plentiful

It was a really lovely property of great character and filled with nice furniture. The ned was comfortable but it would have been nice to have a bottom sheet that stayed stretched over the bed. The staff were very nice although we only met anyone in the morning. The breakfast was unsurprisingly perfunctory but the value was terrific

Not too far from the town centre, owners were very friendly. Bed was extra comfy, and didn't want to leave it, breakfast was great. Very happy.
On average, 3-star hotels in Hereford cost £102 per night, and 4-star hotels in Hereford are £92 per night. If you're looking for something really special, a 5-star hotel in Hereford can on average be found for £117 per night (based on Booking.com prices).
Our trip was to get a flavour of the place.
Cathedral was the highlight. Mappa Mundi fantastic.
A little disappointed with shopping area/ food outlets. Spent time looking for a good town centre pub where burger and chips etc weren’t the main options.

Lovely area and some really good places to eat.
Lovely area and some really good places to eat. The Sidings is a first class railway carriage on an industrial estate but well worth a visit for brunch. The Carriages restaurant is excellent , we enjoyed the tasting menu, the staff were really friendly and would recommend trying if your budget can accommodate such an expenditure

Quaint old town with plenty of charm. Lots of individual shops and lovely places to eat & drink.
The Hereford Cathedral was a wonderful place to visit. Well worth a visit in spring/summer to enjoy the sights and a chance to visit the local National Trust properties.

Hereford is really interesting with lots of old buildings and the cathedral. It’s a bit higgedly piddley with alleyways and roads running off the main thoroughfare where there is a market, outside coffee bars and lots of shops.. Restaurants and shops are also around the Old Market place where there is a good atmosphere in the evening. It is easy to explore other areas of Herefordshire from Hereford without travelling too far.

The room was on the first floor with a great view down the street towards Hereford Cathedral. It's not a busy street. Parking was free, and off road. The room was cosy, spacious, well equipped in the bathroom with my favourite toiletries :) Downstairs, the breakfast and dining room extension is all pale wood and glass, sitting on the castle moat, with sun streaming in, and duck life to observe outside. Really fab. The food was produce from the hotel's own farm - tasty, well presented, attentive but not intrusive service. All good.
I stayed in Normandy Room that provided for all my needs during my stay. The breakfast was excellent and for evening meals there are restaurants within a short walking distance. Hereford town is only about 5-10 minutes walk away. Upon checking out on the final morning of our stay it was good to be able to leave our car in the the hotel car park and walk into the town/city centre shopping area without having to pay car park charges elsewhere.
Decent but no frills double room, clean, comfy bed, felt safe (key pad on front door to come and go), private off road parking. Close enough to Hereford town centre to walk. Note there's no breakfast options at the moment. We ate dinner at The Burger Shop, it was the best burger I have had in a long time. Access to the garden at the back.
excellent location, hosts very helpful and prompt with reply to any questions.
free on street parking with a permit ( v handy ).
great location , 5min walk from hereford cathedral and town centre .
