It was the touches of hospitality that wowed us. The extra bed was made for our 3 year old daughter and they left a children's book for bed time stories. In the bath room next to our bath robes was a smaller bath robe and slippers just her size. She felt very special wearing this.

It is my favorite city to visit and has been for over 30 years. The old quote " if you are tired of London, you are tired of life" is still applicable. The theater district is the world's best for the spoken word. We toured the Old Globe and saw Ewen Mcgregor on his west end return and a marvelous Brian Cox in The Score. We ate at Dishoom Indian restaraunt at the Covent garden location and again at Tottenham road which was closer to our stay in Maidavale. The weather was dry and warm so we went to Kew Gardens and walked amongst the bluebells. The tube is still the best way to get around London and people are still polite and will offer seats to older riders. Make sure you have good shoes as you will probably be walking 20000 steps plus and many of the tube stops do not have elevators so difficult for anyone that may need wheelchair assistance. Lastly do the British Museum once..research an area that intrigues you and then when you come back again, explore a different area in depth

I managed to decipher the London Underground.

I managed to decipher the London Underground. Easter holidays are definitely not to visit London, but it was a stopover to attend something more important. It seems that an ocean of people had descended upon the place, along with their prams and children. Very few I encountered were well mannered or considerate. Even when you book you still have to queue to enter certain sitesm especially if it is free entry. Otherwise, prices can be obscene, and it is best to take you own food and drink. I would recommend planning ahead and prioritising key visits. If you do not have much money, just check out the parks and admire all the architectural delights. Plus be wary of phone thieves and other opportunists.

    London was fantastic!

London was fantastic! Our hotel was in a great location so was easy to get around different parts of London. We had 2 days and 1 night and definitely couldn’t fit everything in. The shops were brilliant, we did some sightseeing and the food variety was outstanding.

We stayed in Camden, in which Bloomsbury is located.

We stayed in Camden, in which Bloomsbury is located. This area has plenty of eateries, unique shops, and squares (areas of lawn and flowers) that are open to the public. You can feel far away from a bustling city here and yet reach major touristy areas within a 30-minute walk. Not only were we located near the British Museum and the British Library, but there are also other smaller art galleries and historical markers throughout this area. The Sandwich Street Kitchen has delicious full breakfasts - not just English, but vegetarian and mediterranean as well. There are plenty of pubs for a pint with seating both inside and out.

    We always enjoy London.

We always enjoy London. We plan what we are doing before we go So we don't walk around aimlessly. My only complaint is that I heard more foreign accents than English but I guess that's what you get in a cosmopolitan city. Tube is the way to travel for us gets us where we need to go

It's in an incredible location as you're in the centre of London just a few minutes walk from the Natural History Museum. The staff were friendly as we dropped off our backs earlier in the day and then were able to check in quite late at night. The rooms were also fairly decent, with desks and beds that were quite comfortable. I feel like it could use being a bit cheaper, but it is London and better value than most of the hotels around.

At first I was skeptical, but I’m glad I chose to stay here! Not only it’s cheaper and better than most hotels in London, but also because it has all the necessities you need from Laundry, hot showers, WiFi, security and the owner is there for your accommodation and comfort 24/7. I would stay here again for sure. Try it, you won’t regret it. 😃👍🏼

The hotel was very clean and modern, a great location and very cheap for London! Reception staff were friendly. The room size is similar to a premier inn hub, with a spacious bathroom, a kettle, hairdryer, coffee machine etc all included. Paid around £40 pp for a night which, for right next to Hyde Park, was excellent.

The staff is very friendly, the location is great, and the place is clean and quiet. Compared to other London hotels, it offers reasonable value for money. Despite staying in a few nearby (slightly cheaper) hotels, this one is in the best condition

The room was very small although it was pretty central to London so great for accessing other districts. The shower was very good quality which was unexpected by these sorts of cheap hotels in London.
