Little Thatch is a quintessentially british thatched cottage. The Grade II listed cottage offers the perfect balance of traditional features and modern comfort, for a luxurious stay. The village is fabulous for walkers and has three public houses in the village, all 2 to 4 minutes walk from your doorstep. There is also a village shop/post office and gift shop. Cerne Abbas is well located to explore Dorset and the stunning Jurassic Coast. Discount applied for weekly bookings
I live 2 doors away and am always around if you need me for anything. I may meet you when you collect the keys but sometimes I am not in when the keys are collected. I will leave you in complete peace for your stay and try not to disturb you unless I need to water any plants in the summer or collect the bins for bin day (I will knock first) but I am always available for a chat and happy to answer any questions and help with any problems.
Cerne Abbas is a friendly and very pretty village. In the village we have a well stocked village shop. There are 3 pubs, all serving delicious food. The local brewery has live music events and opening times, usually at the weekend. There are lots of beautiful walks in Cerne Abbas, one of which would be a walk around the Cerne Giant.
Cerne Abbas is 8 miles from Dorchester, 12 miles from Sherborne and 16 miles from Weymouth.
A car would be the best form of transport to explore Dorset but there is a bus service to Dorchester, Sherborne and Yeovil, which all have train stations. There is a taxi service based in Cerne Abbas that would need to be pre-booked.
