Within 0.1 miles you will find a shop and pub, and beach in 1.1 miles, and please note that this is a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price, along with a starter pack for the woodburning stove. Lythe Cottage is a lovely base for your next adventure in North Yorkshire. Note: The stairs leading to the first floor are quite steep and may not be suitable for guests with lower mobility. Note: The property is located on a busy road, please ensure pets are supervised. Lythe is a small, peaceful village resting between Whitby and Staithes in North Yorkshire. The village is home to St. Oswalds Church, with medieval and anglo saxon connections, along with a Viking burial site, and offers a choice of attractions including the historic Mulgrave Castle just south of the village. Dining options include The Stiddy, a traditional public house serving delicious home-cooked meals, whilst you can stock up on essentials at Lythe's Community Shop and post office. Within easy reach of the village is the popular seaside town of Whitby, where you can find further attractions and amenities such as the fascinating ruins of Whitby Abbey, a family-friendly beach, and a variety of shops and eateries along the River Esk. Robin Hood's Bay lies further south for a picturesque fishing village, whilst Middlesbrough is north of Lythe, a larger town with cultural sites for the whole family to enjoy.
