We were in an accessible room. It is clear that a great deal of very careful thought has gone in to making it fully wheelchair accessible. Doors are extra wide. All handles are easy to push including for the sink. Grab rails around toilet and shower: seat in shower, which is wet room style with no lips or steps. Room has no lips or steps; hard floors. Sink is at a height suitable for wheelchair users; toilet ditto.
Bed was comfy, shower good, room a good size (and big enough that a wheelchair could manoeuvre around the bed).
Food is truly excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful, breakfast is included and very nice.
A wonderful place which I heartily recommend.

Beautifully appointed, clean, walking distance to all local sights, amazing breakfast and Julie is the best host! No request was too difficult and she offered cups of tea, cake and other condiments which is above and beyond what we expecteded.

Morpeth is a lovely place, plenty of shops and places for coffee or food. It's also a great base to explore more of Northumberland with the train station a short walk from the centre, and the bus station right in the middle. We can recommend The Old Bakehouse for a great meal and super friendly staff. If you're just after a coffee and a snack, check out Central Bean Ltd in Sanderson Arcade - great coffee at a reasonable price! And for a decent night's sleep, we always use Morpeth Lodge.

It is a pleasant town with plenty of pubs and restaurants for all budgets. There is a regular bus service into Newcastle with the journey taking 30 minutes. The large park by the river is a great place to relax

We really liked Morpeth , we went round the town and had lunch a couple of times. The parking system throughout Northumberland is fantastic, you just paid a £1 for a disc and could park for up to 3 hours, it can be used in most car parks. What a brilliant way to encourage tourism.

The visitor 'shop' was a revelation as it was so much more.
The visitor 'shop' was a revelation as it was so much more. Part history library, part art gallery, part sweet shop, as well as friendly tourist information. We enjoyed our 50 minute long "just popping in"!
Don't forget the fascinating Chantry Museum upstairs, to find our ore about bagpipes than you knew was possible!
A lot of small varied and interesting shops, well worth browsing. Plenty of coffee places to snack.
Best of all, a good old large Department Store, Rutherford and Co. Selling quality goods, not too expensive, with friendly helpful staff in all departments plus a small but very tasty café on the 1st floor. A really interesting layout inside to explore.
There are 5 bridges over the river, so it is easy to cross to take a peaceful riverside side walk along the bank away from the traffic.
There is a paid carpark in the centre, and a bigger paid carpark at Morrisons Supermarket ( a short walk from the centre) on the A197 if you are approaching the town from the north.

On a lovely quiet street in Morpeth. Very nice looking place with good free parking and excellent instructions about parking. Very friendly host who gave us clear instructions and was super helpful. Food was lovely and good choices for breakfast. Very clean, modern and with everything you could need provided and more. Fresh milk and a fridge were great. Excellent power shower.
Despite being on a busy road junction the room #6 that I had was very quiet. It was also clean, warm and comfortable and had everything I needed for a 3 day Christmas 🎄 visit to see my family and friends. It has a car park and the hotel is just 2 minutes walk from Morpeth town centre.
Spacious, luxurious, perfectly appointed, cozy home from home.
Cannot wait to visit again. Beats a standard hotel room hands down. Unbelievable value for money. Super comfy beds and soft linens. Well done bridge street apartments. We will be back.
