The Athelhampton House is just a little drive away on the edge of Puddletown village. The village features St John the Baptist church which has a history dating back 1000 years, tours provided by church members are available between May and September. Next to the Bere Stream, Elder Road Open Space can be found with its riverside boardwalk and bridge.
