Great welcome, easy check in, uncomplicated. Nice room, good shower, heated room as it was a bit chilly outside - so well done there too! Quiet, you couldn't hear other people - which is great. Location was good for us. Plenty of tea and coffee and milk and a kettle in the room.

Very clean and has everything you need for the stay. The many extras that were provided free of charge made the stay even better. The host was welcoming and helpful with her local knowledge of the area and also the on site Club house was very good. Would highly recommend. Martin

The cathedral is beautiful and situated in the Bailgate area along with the castle and its array of unique shops, bars restaurants, teashops and more. There is a cobbled street which goes from the Bailgate all the way down to the centre of Lincoln with the canal running right through the city to the marina and beyond, there are also plenty of shops, bars restaurants, coffee shops, two cinemas and more.

Stamford is a lovely town, we will definitely return. Very attractive buildings and lots of history. Well worth doing a guided walking tour. Enjoyed all our meals out, vegans well catered for. Enjoyed a glass of wine in front of a log fire at The George.

A lovely little cottage, well presented and located in the heart of Stamford. everything you needed in the cottage , it was cosy and comfortable with no expense spared. Jo was great to deal with and took the time to go over and above most to shop and put together a generous hamper full of treats for our arrival (prosecco and strawberries included) , this was a lovely Christmas surprise!! We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Stamford now. Stamford if full of history, including the landmark for Queen Elanor's cross. There are plenty of cocktail bars and restaurants to dine out. Parking is always difficult in Stamford but this is to be expected so go prepared.

Stamford is a really beautiful town with its gorgeous honey-coloured Georgian architecture. Great for window (or real) shopping with lots of independent and interesting shops and plenty of excellent coffeee shops/pubs and cafes.
