Particularly enjoyed dinner at Broadbean Tapas restaurant & lunch at No32. Excellent coffee and pastries from Otis and Belle located below the accommodation. Lovely shops and galleries and a great deli.
Lovely shops and galleries and a great deli. Ate at The Swan pub - excellent food and very friendly service. Very well run steam railway with an attractive route running all the way to Cheltenham Racecourse. Broadway Tower also worth a trip with far reaching views and a nice cafe. Broadway is rightly a very popular tourist destination particularly for those that love wandering round galleries and bespoke shops. Lots of cafes and places to eat and most weekends there is something going on. A great base if you want to view the rest of the Cotswolds. Broadway is a beautiful, very picturesque Cotswold Village with great cafes, eateries, pubs and such helpful people. Very easy to get around although parking is a bit of a problem, particularly on the weekend. While there is plenty to see and do, I particularly enjoyed the Museum which also contained a gallery of local artisans' work and the antique shops. great coffee and company for solo travellers looking for local information and a chat at from the Cotswold Larder - down a lane - look for the sign on the main street. The hotel itself is quaint and quirky, as an historic building in the cotswolds should be. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were amazing. They were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
