We are locals who are invested in supporting our community.
We rescue unloved buildings and completely renovate them in line with local authority initiatives for regeneration of our region. We employ local people and use the local supply chain wherever possible to support our business. Although we are new to the hotel industry, we have a combined experience of over 30 years in property development and running businesses. There is also significant hospitality experience within the senior team – 2 of the directors have been successfully running Serviced Accommodation / Holiday Let businesses for the last 5 years with outstanding client reviews.

Formerly a traditional seaside guest house, Stay Coastal has been beautifully renovated into 6 luxurious rooms and suites. With stunning boutique style decor we offer our guests a place to relax or work.
With a high tech keyless entry system guests at Stay Coastal love the freedom to come and go as they please with self-service check-in.
While it’s nice to get away, we know that sometimes you need to get connected. With our high-speed WiFi, we’ve got you covered.
Our guests love our luxurious en-suites with walk in rain head power showers.
Each of our rooms comes equipped with a kitchenette, for a quick breakfast or lunchtime snack. There is a fridge, microwave, kettle & sink in each suite and they have all the crockery and cutlery you should need.
Our rooms are dog friendly, check at booking for availability. An additional charge of 25 per dog, per night will apply.
We aim to provide a little bit of luxury and a few special extras. Oh, and did we mention, we’re just a few steps from the seafront and beautiful sandy beaches!

Stay Coastal is committed to supporting and promoting our region and the wonderful local businesses who make it what it is.
Whitley Bay Beach, a golden sand Blue Flag award-winning beach, stretches from Whitley Bay North towards St Mary's Lighthouse. It is a popular place for and is regularly used by walkers. The promenade and The Links have wonderful walks with the beach as a magnificent backdrop. If you time it right you can cross to St Mary's Lighthouse and watch the seals bask on the rocks. A wonderful sight.
