I loved the overall hotel, the staff are very warm and friendly and the entertainment was great, breakfast was lovely, the only downside was the ladies toilet next to the lounge needs to have the bins emptied more dirty nappy smells were terrible that said everything else was great. So will be returning again.

Location and staff.
The location is great, just opposite the North pier with the convenience of tram / bus / train station nearly.
Staff is friendly although would have loved if they were a little more proactive in reporting issues and not allocating rooms which have issues.

A favored vaction spot since the Victorian era, Blackpool is a traditional English seaside town. Amusement arcades and crazy golf courses line the promenade and dotted between them are plenty of places to pick up fresh fish ‘n’ chips and Blackpool rock.
On the 5-mile sandy beach, children can enjoy Punch and Judy shows and donkey rides. Old-fashioned entertainment at its best. At the other end of the scale is the Blackpool Pleasure Beach, a fairground complex comprising a variety of rides, including The Big One - once the world’s tallest and steepest rollercoaster. They actually had to get permission from nearby Blackpool Airport to erect it!
More seaside pursuits are on the town’s 3 piers, one of which is Grade II listed. However, the most recognizable landmark is the Blackpool Tower which houses a circus, 4D cinema and a world-renowned ballroom, to name a few. Modeled on the Eiffel Tower, it is spectacularly lit during the annual Blackpool Illuminations, when the whole town is bathed in bright lights. The trams plying the prom are also lit. Look out for the one shaped like a ship.
A popular bachelor and bachelorette destination, Blackpool has accommodations ranging from North Shore hotels to South Shore B&Bs - see Booking.com for the best choice.

Our stay was connected to attending the Winter Gardens Theatre, which is in a lovely location. The roads to the venue were very well-flowing and clear. Everywhere is very well kept, we found.
Parking was accessible nearby, and our return journey to our accommodation (which was excellent) by a different route was very easy to travel.

I went to Blackpool for the Northern Soul Weekender.
I went to Blackpool for the Northern Soul Weekender. I arrived Friday night. Went to the Tower until early hours of Sat. On Sat morning I went to Madame Tussauds, had a long walk, went back to my room, had food and went back to the Tower. Sunday was copy and paste but this time I went to Sealife, which was fab, also took a long stroll along the beach. Monday bought some souvenirs and caught the coach home. Weather was perfect the whole weekend

Blackpool is a town of extremes.
Blackpool is a town of extremes. There is beauty to be found and then not so. There’s good food and not so. Good hotels and terrible and there a places that are shiny and well kept and then there are some seriously run down buildings, hotels and places. Do you homework, ask others and you can definitely have a fun time, if you can ignore some of the unkempt places. It’s full of nostalgia for me as a dancer, and knowing family came as far back as 1923. The kids love the pleasure beach, sandcastle, coral island, old school kids entertainment in the family bar at central pier and visiting the ballroom! Cafe 47 near our hotel did a great breakfast and good coffee, in quiet residential area. Wetherspoons Velvet Coaster does the job and to eat some great hearty food go to The Eating Inn near the south shore, food brilliant! busy so book! Tram family day ticket for 5 was £18 and think cheaper if download the tram app. The North pier bloom gin bar is nice, outdoor style seating, bright, florals and music at weekends. Decent gin in gin glasses. A pint and a white wine around £13 or £11 for 2 pints of cruz campo at the family bar on Central pier

The hotell wasn't as advertised.
The hotell wasn't as advertised.
There wasn't any free parking
There wasn't any internet
There wasn't any towels
The manager was abusive. His name is Lee. He was shouting at my partner and I when we challenged him on the issues above then walked off after blaming booking.com for false advertising but still charged me the £65 for the room. He then wanted another £10 cash for having a dog whitch was also supposed to be included in the price.
There were people sleeping outside the hotell in the doorway and taking drugs.
I also paid for late checkout at 3pm but I left at 9.40am so I tidnt have to pay for additional parking.
I feel robbed iof my money and felt uncomfortable to speak with Lee the manager again.
I would like a full refund plse as an apology.

Fish and chips from Yorkshire Fisheries nr train station were lovely.
The trams on seafront can go to South shore or north shore as far as Fleetwood ferry, book in advance on the app and it will be cheaper.
Back streets are less disirable but the promanade is nice.

The properties from North to Pleasure beach varied in appearance. The Blackpool North train station and area to the sea is much improved. Many run down properties towards pleasure beach not good to look at.
Easy to get around but tram fare expensive and discourages use.
Would like to see more up market fish restaurants.
