Pytts House Boutique Bed & Breakfast, hotel in Burford

Situated in Fulbrook, Burford, Pytts House Boutique Bed & Breakfast features accommodation with a flat-screen TV. Complimentary WiFi is offered. A cooked English breakfast is available daily.

Breakfast really lovely and served in a beautiful dining room. Good choice of cooked breakfast but for me the lovely plate of fruit served with yogurt and honey was my perfect start. Loved the garden sitting there watching the dogs play and enjoying a cup of tea. Also appreciated the three lovely restaurants we were recommended and where we enjoyed our excellent evening meals. Anna is a very special host who looked after us perfectly.

Burford is a medium sized Cotswolds town - pretty, lots of places to eat and drink, local independent shops and a good place as a base to explore the wider Cotswolds area. Burford Golf Club is very close, as is the Cotswolds Wildlife Park. Both recommended.

Burford is a great place to visit.

Burford is a great place to visit. The shops are individual and interesting and it is one of the best places for pubs with open fires in winter. It is a very attractive place with many interesting buildings. A short distance away is a wonderful garden centre. We ate one night at the Highway Inn where we were staying and the next night at the Lamb. Good meals in both.

Lovely friendly staff, they couldn’t do enough for us. Sarah sorted the rooms out. Ioan, big Jake, Ruth, Maisey and Grace were also extremely helpful in their allocated roles. Beautiful hotel and windrush room was gorgeous. We are there in the evenings and both nights the food was delicious.

The decor and style so beautifully decorated throughout hotel and in room. Some staff went above and beyond and all were friendly. The breakfast was superb Extra touches in the room such as fresh coffee and shortbread biscuits/ music in the room on arrival and toiletries local and well picked. Dog friendly and made to feel welcome as well as being able to eat in ybar area with our dog which was very important to us . Loved burford so much to explore and quaint shops and cafes are a lot dog friendly.

The feel of the hotel is excellent - classical English public house. The front desk is the bar in the pub, and while the rooms are not incredibly large, there are plenty of amenities available, including a delicious breakfast in the hotel's restaurant. The location in Burford is great. There are plenty of pubs and shops within walking distance (not to mention all of the beautiful architecture!), and there is a Starbucks directly across the street.

The Highway Inn in Burford was a pleasant surprise. We booked as a stop-off after a trip to the Lake District to get closer to London. The very small room was charming with beams and a tiny bathroom. The historic hotel has been renovated in very good style, preserving the old charm. Nice staff. Excellent breakfast with many choices!

Beautiful dreamy spot—the staff were so nice, perfect food for breakfast and dinner (so good why go anywhere else??!?)—I wish I could stay forever. Torn between wanting to give them the rave they deserve and wanting to keep it a secret place!! I will absolutely be back. Won’t ever stay anywhere else in the Cotswolds!

The hotel and the room were really cool. We were in an attic space with handhewn 16th Century beams and a huge four-poster bed. The pub downstairs was a hot spot and other eating/drinking options were available in this remarkable historic town.
